The passing week has supplied more than enough videos from around New Eden. From ambient videos, fake trailers and some hilarious or tense PvP moments, these are EVE News 24’s picks for the past week:

#1 EVE Online: Garmur & Worm | DUO | NO LINKS | Relax PvP by Azimandi

A nice compilation video of a Garmur and Worm frigates blazing their way through null security space and leaving a trail of wrecks in their wake. The video shows the pair fighting against ever increasing odds, and even features a surprising cameo near the end. All I can say is, can’t wait to see more of the mischief the pair will undoubtedly cause.

#2 CHAOS nyx Kill by Benzmann

Our good friends in Escalating Entropy [CHAOS] once again live up to their name, snagging a Nyx super carrier parked on a citadel. The behemoth does its best to resist, but in the end succumbs to the inevitable, all recorded in high quality footage with some nice visuals. Always a plus to watch (Or a minus, if you happen to own said Nyx).

#3 Synthwave Garmur vs Small TEST Gang by TacitOrange83

Another Garmur featured in this list, this time taking advantage of fleet boosts and implant sets. Though some find it quite controversial and degrading, it is still amazing to see just how much of a force multiplier these things can be, as demonstrated in the video itself. Regardless of how you may personally view the pilot’s usage of such items, it is nonetheless a very well edited piece, not to mention the fine piloting shown in it. Give it a look!

#4 EVE Online – Moros by Everything EVE

A beautiful video showcasing one of New Eden’s most beautiful (Or most ugly, depending on your personal opinion) dreadnoughts. In what can only be described as a cinematic trailer, the Moros is shown to the viewer in high quality graphics for all its splendor, giving the audience a feel of just how enormous and majestic a ship it really is.

#5 EvE Online – Tourism (Amarr Region) by goduffgo

A tourist’s guide to Amarr space, this video presents the different landmarks scattered across the Amarr Empire, including footage of the coronation fleet in Amarr itself. A great video to watch and a good remainder of the story and lore behind New Eden, as well as the game’s fundamental beauty that often gets overlooked.

#6 Eve Online: AT Rewind – Episode 1 – AT 13 Rule Changes Impact on the Meta by TheBloodRaid

With the Alliance Tournament in full swing, it is always interesting to learn a bit more about the principles that guide the fleet compositions in this season. This video does just that, explaining the rule changes and the way they impact fittings and fleet setups. Quite informative and interesting, give it a watch, especially if you are a fan of the tournament!

#7 EVE – AT Rabble vs NANOBLACK by LFG Gaming

Watching the alliance tournament, the spectator often sees things from a bird’s eye view, complete with commentary and statistics to boot. However, it is always interesting to see things from the perspective of the competing teams and how the matches go through their eyes. This video does just that, showcasing the match between NANOBLACK [NANO-] and Rabble Alliance [RABLE] from the latter’s perspective. Quite the treat.

#8 EvE Online – Lone Wolf PvP by Cosmo Blink

With the introduction of tactical destroyers, assault frigates had lost their shine, often falling to the sidelines. However one pilot seems bent on bringing them back, starting with the Wolf. In this video, the pilot in question shows just how powerful an assault frigate can get in a series of recorded engagements. Sometimes he fails, but other times, he succeeds far more than one would expect with what might seem as an obsolete ship. Perhaps there is still a future for assault frigates yet!

#9 EVE ONLINE GAUNT PEWPEW EPISODE #1 SOLO COMMENTARY by The Gaunt

An informative PvP video showcasing a Vagabond heavy assault cruiser and a Brutix Navy Issue battlecruiser. The video not only shows the fights, but also explains the different tactics involved in forcing a fight to happen in the first place, and surviving said fight (Or at least attempting to). Definitely a must see for the aspiring solo PvPer who wants to try some heavier ships.
