So it’s that time of the week where I have spent hours upon hours of trawling through YouTube to bring you the BEST (well, in my opinion anyway) videos that the Eve Community has to offer. So here we go!
#1 Welcome to New Eden
I haven’t done a fan trailer video for a while, so when I saw that this one had CCP Manifest’s attention, I had to have a look at it. Using clips from various past Eve trailers and editing the clips to match up with the excellently chosen music makes for a great goose-bumper of a trailer. Even features a bit of Valkyrie. Best played LOUD.

#3 4K EVE Online PvP – Mallers vs. Caracals
Got a 4k monitor? No, I don’t either, so didn’t get to see this one in all its super high definition glory either, but clearly Baffy Jack has some pretty powerful hardware to record not only in 4K, but also in glorious 60FPS. Normally, I pass over these sorts of videos where little boxes of various colours run around the screen with only music over the top, but even without a 4K monitor I was able to watch it in 1440p and the level of detail allows you to see every little detail clearly as the two fleets maneuver around each other to get into position. A great one for fight analysis’s.
#4 Eve Highlights 2015 08 16
There are days I wish I spoke Russian, and this is one of them. In this compilation of small gang brawls in Sansha NPC space by hostoghost, the thing that immediately stood out to me was the quality of the editing – overlays are used, some small visual effects, all add to the experience of the video. Clearly quite a bit of work went into it.
