From the Horses Mouth: What truly happened within AAA

July 22, 2015

I was recently able to chat with Black Aces Directors GeneralGree & Aranin. The discussion was centered on what really happened that broke Against All Authorities. I have tried to gain comments from the other side of the coin but have been unsuccessful. Speaking to GeneralGree, I asked him to clarify his story that has, over the last 48 hours, has spread rumor and speculation throughout New Eden.

“The friction started when Black Aces took on a leadership role within Against All Authorities about 6 months ago. My understanding is that the Russian corporations of AAA were not happy with the way I ran things; now this maybe a language barrier but i’m not 100% sure.”

There were instances with moon dramas during this time that seemed to be settled, but it was evident within that distrust between leaders had emerged.

Cracks appeared that could only lead to one route and the ‘moon that broke the camel’s back’ belonged to Legio Astartes Arcanum (LEGIO). They have several moon assets within [-A-]’s section of Stain. Contact was attempted to remove towers and shift over moons to balance out friendly assets.

This did not sit well with Primus Vaganza who is a leader in LEGIO. As most would, he discussed his concerns with other Corporation members. From what we understand, the pilot R17a misunderstood the discussions and interpreted this as an attack on LEGIO’s assets. So “without discussion or warning he removed Black Aces from the Alliance”.

The deed is now done and the wedge has well and truly been driven in. GeneralGree emphasized that  despite the failed relationship,

“i have the up most respect for the vast amount of Russians, it is a shame and it makes me angry that all of our good work has been un-done by one single act”.

I asked the question of what next?

“We have spoken to other Corporations we fly with and it is our intentions to continue the hard work, re-focus and re-group under a new banner. It is exciting times here and we look forward to the future”

Thank you to General Gree & Aranin for your time.
