When PL (Pandemic Legion) defeated Solar Fleet and seized control of the Drone Regions, it was rumored that possibly trillions of isk worth of Solar assets were locked in R3P0-Z. To add further insult to injury, PL created and transferred the system to a four-man alt alliance for sovereignty holding purposes and barring access to even their own members effectively dead zoning the system. For almost two years Solar, and anyone else with assets in the station have effectively been cut off from any hopes of accessing them.
Fast forward to the Phoebe release and much has changed. PL has abandoned the Drone Regions, selling off their rental empire for all intents and purposes and leaving Legion of xXDeathXx to the tasks of being landlord and bodyguard. Solar has been laying siege to xXDeathXx’s staging system in Geminate, and pretty much anyone with a turret slot has been poking away at the drone regions looking for a foothold.
Galaxy Rangers Alliance seeing an opportunity for content creation has been using R3P0-Z as a base of operations, dropping and working out of a Deathstar POS and causing general mischief in the area. After two weeks of this and no real response from xXDeathXx they decided to attack sov, drop SBU’s (sovereignty blockade unit), and see what happened. xXDeathXx’s response was too little too late, allowing the TCU (territorial claim unit) to online before they could destroy it and turning over the system to Galaxy Rangers who at the time of writing have sov in the system and the station under their control.

UPDATE: GALAXY RANGERS HAVE TAKEN SOV IN OUTER PASSAGE DESPITE LEGION BRINGING 40 SUB-CAPS AND 2 SUPERS OUR DEATHSTAR POS + 2 TRIAGE CARRIERS (THAT ESCAPED WITH BURNT REPPERS IN HULL) MANNED BY 3 EPIC DUDES FOUGHT THEM OFF WITH THE TCU IN DEEP ARMOUR BEFORE IT CAME ONLINE.
This was all in good fun. xXDeathXx have finally woken up and are hammering down their 10,000 man coalition on us as we speak. Realistically we don’t expect to hold it for more than a couple of days anyway so no way Solar can move anything out really, their stuff is still effectively trapped until they can militarily hold this position. bear in mind we are 3-4 regions and like 6-7 mid points from anywhere non xdeathx owned in a post pheobe universe. Will be interesting couple of days tho.
