Today we bring you a nice large dose of drama from over in , who have been rather lacking with drama recently, until now.
The first piece of news, is that long term leader Loquitur has stepped down from running FA, he will remain in FA, however his real life time is taking up more and more time, and he is unable to commit to leading an alliance such as FA. In his place is his replacement, Luxotor, someone who also has a long history within FA, however someone who has in the passed had many an argument and falling out with several corps and pilots. So it will be interesting to see how this develops.
Now the second bit of news, last night it was revealed that up to 4 corps from FA were planning a move to , citing many reasons ranging on disapproval with FA’s leadership, to simply wanting to start fresh, and potentially move onto goons in the future. This news made it to The Mittani, who last night called a meeting with very little notice. This meeting was aimed at trying to avoid a complete failcascade of FA. Reassurances were made, and a lot of goon help was offered to aid FA though its latest changes.
Combined with both of the above drama, comes some very odd decision making, as a last move Loquitur and the new leader Luxotor have purged and blacklisted two of FAs most active and highest ranking FCs, Pearcy15504, and Ironwulf. Both being two of the most active Euro and USTZ FCs that FA have. Reasons for this were due to them apparently encouraging corporations to leave FA and join other alliances.
With THOR/DARK/HUN and now INK staging close to Fountain and daily hitting structures and taking R64s, the purge of two major FCs, the changing of leadership, and the instability of corporations remaining with FA, I wonder if FA are going to be truly prepared for the upcoming November changes!
