In a surprising move this evening Razor Alliance released information that they will be moving to Caldari Faction Warfare space to take up arms in defending the Caldari State.

The announcement is as follows;

Dear Goats of RAZOR,

For years now we fought a relentless war against  Guristas, we lost thousands of our ships to them and we killed millions of them in revenge. Lots of you were involved in this actions during the last week, while our staging grounds in Vale of the Silent became, well silent. We stayed in LS-JEP due to strategic thoughts on coalition level and when we prepared to move last weekend the situation changed and we were left with no where to go.

However, peacetime is never an easy time for a warrior collective such as RAZOR Alliance. We are not constructed to rat, trade and allow our combat prowess to blunt and rust. We cannot recline in LS-JEP while we wait for our brothers in the CFC to decide on a plan of action. The last week, we were busy creating a new campaign for you guys, to once more hone the slicing edge of RAZOR, when we found an opportunity for fights in an unexpected direction. There is only one group in the universe that is more full of hatred for the Guristas then us. The Caldari State. This makes us natural allies.

The State, or to be precise the Caldari Militia is trapped in an ongoing struggle against the Gallente Federation and they are losing. They have been pushed back deep into The Citadel, trying to stop a superior enemy, who is able to field fleets of 200+ in Ishtars etc.. and is supported by criminal groups like PL, Test Alliance and Braze Newbies. The Citadel is about to fall and hostile scouts have been reported already in Jita. We can not return to Tenal when friends are under attack. We can not rest on our laurels while the State is on the brink of collapse. The forces of thee oppressive Gallente regime have to be beaten. We have to cut them down and we have to push them back in the holes where these vermin came from.

RZR will be staging from -redacted-, behind enemy lines, to support the Caldari Militia. This puts us right in the middle of two of the most violent regions in EvE. Additional to the FW guys, there are groups like BL and Snuff around, we are also close to Syndicate in case the the Powerpoint Coalition or Ejoke are rising once more and we are in better position to help CFC if shit is going down in the North or the West. This area is great to keep our Fleet Commandeers sharp, eve as we train-up a new crop to lead our fleets against future threats. We will oil the gears of the RAZOR machine of war. We will be ready to face any opponent, on any battlefield, at any time.

Goats: fuel your carriers, stock up on ammunition. Let not our blood run cold for want of a fight. Instead let our lust for combat be constantly refreshed. Today the herd shall march proudly to battle.

Glory for the State, Kills for the Great Goat, Death to Ishtars!

Well there you have it, mixed into that really odd, but well written statement was the intent of Razor Alliance; they will be stationing behind the lines of Gallente FW and getting into as many fights as possible.

My guess would be that they will be stationing somewhere up towards the Black Rise region, giving them great access to Jita, Syndicate and leaving them able to deploy into Gallente FW space and support Caldari FW in The Citadel. It also puts them close to Black Legion, currently staging from Vestouve, in Placid.

While the autumn is starting to bring pilots back to EvE, the winter is fast approaching and the large alliances will be gearing up for the winter wars that will inevitably come. This is Razor trying to get some action, shake off the rust of the summer and remind themselves that they are a group of combat pilots.

What effect this move will have on the CFC is yet to be seen. Will this re-staging of one of their fighting forces away from Null cause any smaller alliance or other power blocks to try and muscle in on some of their space?

One thing is sure though, if you’re looking for some good fights in low sec… there are worse ideas than heading out to Placid and The Citadel at the moment.
