This morning an Against All Authorities (AAA) Avatar died to the hands of Pandemic legion.
Pandemic Legion didn’t want to comment on how this Avatar died so I decided to contact the victim, Hawkcrest to ask him his side of the story. He appeared to logged off so I joined his corps public channel where I met ShadowandLight, A director in the corp of the Avatar Pilot.
ShadowandLight was nice enough to tell us the following things:
ShadowandLight > only that he logged in, started moving his titan with ukn cynos (not in corp at least), didn’t say anything to anyone in-game, skype or steam…. wouldn’t respond to anyone….. i was watching him via the in-game corp tool move system to system
ShadowandLight > and finally arrive in lowsec
ShadowandLight > he then asks for help in corp chat to get safe, but when we asked him to PM anyone of the directors in Skype or Steam he closed the conversation
ShadowandLight > then a few minutes later i see hes in a pod and find the killmail on zkillboard
ShadowandLight > he hasn’t been playing for months due to family and health issues
ShadowandLight > or at this point either he was trying to sell the titan, get the titan safe or his account was hacked and the hacker was moving it
The word ‘’hacked’’ was said and I decided to ask more about this
ShadowandLight > i only know for certain that we haven’t seen him online in months, he refused to speak to anyone at 1st then when he wanted help he wouldnt contact anyone via skype or steam etc
ShadowandLight > so i don’t know anything other than what i stated above…. we are really in the dark atm
ShadowandLight > i’ve known him for years and years…. one of our guys who was online has known him for 10 +…. this is really, really strange
ShadowandLight > who knows, any theory is possible atm
ShadowandLight > he used at least 3 cynos to get from where it was stored to low sec
ShadowandLight > and none of the cynos died, so we dont even know who cynoed him around
ShadowandLight > (at least nothing is showing up on the killboards in the systems i watched him use via the in-game tool
Now I got curious to if Hawk had known Cyno alts
ShadowandLight > he has a few alts in the corp, none logged in and none have logged in for a long time
ShadowandLight > nor did any corp pilots show up in any of the systems i saw his titan move to
This all is indeed a bit strange, Every player returning to EVE would atleast say ’Hi’ to their old friends. The petition has been made so now its time to wait for CCP’s investigation. If more details appear then I will be sure to update this post!
