Last night in Yong what started out as a defensive fleet lead by Corebloodbrothers to reinforce a Dead Terrorists POS in their staging system became a 50 minute long brawl between Provi Bloc and Nulli Secunda.
The night started off with calls to action to form a fleet with word of a POS dropped in their main staging system of Yong by the small alliance of Dead Terrorists. Taking about an hour to form the kitchen sink Provi Bloc fleet undocked and hit their target, completing their objective. Knowing that Nulli Secunda was in the area and likely to form a fleet for a fight of their own the call was made to warp to a blue POS and wait. Nulli didn’t disappoint lighting a cyno and jumping in from Kheram where Nulli is staging with a Proteus and Guardian fleet at 300 km from the Provi Bloc fleet. Nulli warped to about 40 km from the Provi Bloc fleet fearful of getting neuted from previous engagements.
With both fleets now brawling, Nulli cyno’d in carriers the second the fight started and was able to hold reps on their T3 ships for a while. Provi Bloc logi was also holding their kitchen sink fleet together with their reps as they rained down on Nulli. With Nulli carriers on field for a while now, Provi Bloc switched targets to Augorors, Guardians, and capitals as they went into triage. This tactic appeared to work and started to break the back of the Nulli fleet with Provi Bloc moving nuets in closer now mixing their targets when suddenly Nulli dropped dreads on field.
Ladel Teravada who was Corebloodbrothers backup FC played a “huge part in the battle” and did “amazing work” according to Core, telling the Provi Bloc fleet what capital to hit and when causing them to die quickly. What was Ladel Teravada flying you ask?
Just look at that damage taken! Just goes to show you a testament to the logi of Provi Bloc that was there for the fight. 75,330 total.
As the fight slowly came to a end Nulli pulled their forces out jumping what capitals they had left, and then finally everyone else. A decisive victory for the proud Provi Bloc kitchen sink armor fleet. Afterward The Kadeshi came in to kill whatever they could with Ishtar’s and some T3’s, but they were too late.
