Recently we were contacted by the guys who run a new service within New Eden called Galactic Hauling Solutions Inc. Focusing on Low (and high) sec couriers services the service was created by a small band of independent haulers searching to go bigger.
I sat down with Mano Lacko, One of the key figures within Galactic Hauling Solutions Inc to talk a bit about who they are and what they do:
Q: Within eve online there is already a very well-known hauling service called Red Frog. Are you the same type of operation or is there something new you bring to the table?
A: Anthony Balbuena: We won’t compete with any highsec hauling corps we just do low sec and highsec runs in jump freighters making it quick simple service. We leave null to other haulers so but we may branch out later on
Q: How did you come to the idea of doing this sort of job within eve?
Well my partner Plo came from black frog and he didn’t like the prices they went up to so he mailed all of his customers that he was going independent and at that time I was a customer of his but by that time I had my own jfs and I proposed he and I go into business together. From there on me and him formulated everything we needed to make our corp and satisfy our customers.
Q: What is your current queue on when I send a contract to you till you finish it
Sometimes it depends but majority of contracts are done within 12-24 hours of contracting other contracts have been at 1-12
Q: Do you branch out to hire jump freighter pilots or?
We have reached out to a few jump freighter pilots and others have come to us from our competition and like any corp should, we rub API checks to clear them as well as chat with them for a while to get to know them.
Q: how much eve time do you spent on this? is this a constant job or is it still relaxed?
Our approach to contracts is regions, all of our pilots have a list of regions they cover so that we can have really good service times to keep our customers happy. every time I log onto eve and monitor what’s going on in corp as well as contracts on top of advertising our corp as much as I can with word of mouth lol. I’m trying to get use some pr with our incoming pilots joining us.
