We have been coming together for the past week to restart things. Attendance and enthusiasm has seemed to become revitalized. This has given the tenured Eve Players in our midst hope of accomplishing great things. However, this hope is stifled by certain behaviors and attitudes.
On Saturday Feb. 8, 2014 we had an alliance meeting to share the focus and our plan to move forward. Expectations were set at that meeting. Apparently I was not clear in those expectations.
This is NOT a democracy. This is a benevolent dictatorship. What that means is that feedback is welcome but you do not get a vote in things that happen. The alliance CEO has all final decisions in all matters.
Athena is the CEO – her word is final. If she asks you to do something you get it done. If you can’t or won’t do it then you need to say so at the time of asking. There is not to be push back, arguments, attitude, grief, etc of what is asked of you. When Athena asks if there are questions, concerns, comments, that’s the time to bring them up, otherwise shut up and do as you are told. There is a time and a place for things and clearly pilots do not comprehend this and words have been too polite to get through.
The majority of pilots do not play often enough to know key things in Eve. This is UNACCEPTABLE. There are tenured players willing to teach you, yet when they do they are met with attitude, argument, and know it all attitudes. That stops now. Things change in Eve – get over it. If you have no x experience YIELD to those that do.
The following are key areas that have been displayed in the last week:
Not knowing common Eve terminology; Not knowing BASIC Game mechanics; locked/targeted vs aggressed; cloak, invulnerability; agro mechanics with gate guns in low sec; not knowing how to do basic pvp things: tackle, kite; not knowing other ship classes and what to engage; tactical overlay vs overview; saying you know how to do something then when IN BATTLE asking; during wrap up or review getting defensive / offended when it’s to be a learning experience to be better next time; not being with the fleet; re-shipping into something the FC didn’t call for because you felt like it or thought you knew better;
While people here have been talked to privately – they get argumentative and insistent that their correct, when they are not. People don’t want to be called out publicly but that will start. If you can’t get with the program – get out.
The way I’ve been treated in the last six months and the last week is my fault because I’ve allowed it to happen. I will tell you right now it is stopping. You have treated me with rudeness, disrespect and blatant insubordination. Your comments and actions are that of someone who is misogynistic arrogant asshole who has an issue with a woman in charge or of someone with a sick angry dominatrix fantasy. It stops right fucking now.
Telling me to chill out, stop yelling, etc especially when I am NOT will stop. You will be spoken too by me when you fuck up – get over it. In the past week I have not yelled, but you all seem to think I have so I will start making sure you fucking little dickheads know the difference. I have been firm, not bubbly cutie girl – so if that’s what you are looking for go stroke your tiny cock elsewhere. You have an issue with me holding you accountable – refer all complaints to Eli – cause I won’t hear them anymore. You don’t want your ass chewed – stop fucking up, simple. Next one to tell me to chill or stop yelling will not only be muted and emasculated in about 30 seconds flat but I will make you wish you were dead in 60 seconds. I’m done fucking around with you little boys. If you think this is yelling then grow a pair because this isn’t even me getting close to yelling – I haven’t even started yet.
The fact that you all seem to try to push me to the limits of my patients and are purposely trying to make me angry when we do things is disgusting. What kind of piece of shit parents do you have that you would do that to another human being who has been kind to you? Well, if that continues, you’ll wish all I did was yell at you. Start acting like a fucking community of friends.
These problems will be fixed. I am not asking anything more from you than any of my male counterparts in this game do. I BEND over backwards for you only to be treated like shit. I can literally go anywhere in this game – I choose to be here with you. I have people who trust me – yet none of you do. You all behave in manners that show you don’t believe in my abilities – so why the fuck are you here? Cause I’m a girl? GET THE FUCK OUT.
When you feel you can listen and respect me I’ll be available until then I will not be. Get your shit moved – used black frog or push see the forums – as I will not help you any longer. Anyone not in staging systems for forum ups for events will be hunted and killed – and no your shit won’t get replaced.
