Following on from the superb “Caldari Cup” event hosted by EVE-NT at fanfest, they have now teamed up with CCP to bring live coverage of the alliance tournament this year.
To help put this on they need you! Check out their announcement below.
We will fly you over to Nottingham for two weekends and provide accommodation throughout. You will need some spending money mid-week, but hospitality will be provided on show days. We will also be offering some online commentary slots to players who are not lucky enough to be chosen to come to Nottingham. If for whatever reason you cannot be physically present but would still like to get involved in our AT production then feel free to apply, just make it clear you won’t be able to travel.
-Selected players will need to hold a valid passport (we will require scans to confirm this at a later stage) and be available to fly to the UK from Thursday 26th of July and return home on Monday, 6th of August.
-A sense of humor is a must: commentators will need to be sharp-witted, knowledgeable, presentable and comfortable with talking on camera and into a microphone. To increase your chances of getting through, we highly recommend submitting any pre-made or purpose filmed video you have of yourself (ideally on camera) as part of your application. Samples of you commentating esports matches are ideal!
-You must be 18+ to apply.
If you are interested in taking part, please email us at [email protected] with the subject line ‘ATXVI Application’ by 23:59 UTC (EVE Time) on Sunday, May 6, 2018, with the following information. Those lucky enough to be selected for the second round of eliminations must be available to attend voice chat interviews on Saturday & Sunday of the following weekend (May 12th & 13th). EVE_NT will give CCP a shortlist of players to choose from, and they will help us make a final decision:
-Character and real name.
-Date of birth.
-Nationality and current country of residence.
-Tell us about yourself, both in game and out. Remember what you’re applying for and sell yourself to that effect. Please upload any videos you wish to show us to YouTube (unlisted if you desire) and provide links. Commentary of esports is ideal, but we will consider players who can demonstrate they can interact with an audience and are confident talking about EVE & tournaments.
-You must confirm you are available during the first two weekends of the Alliance Tournament. If you need to book time off work / school please don’t do it until we accept you; but please check that it is possible, if there is any doubt here please let us know.
The deadline for applications is soon, so make sure you don’t miss it!
