Soon to be in its fourth year of operation, The Angel Project is an initiative that was created to assist new players in getting established in EVE by providing advice, skillbooks, ISK, ships and many other goodies for them to utilize while taking their first steps into New Eden.
With the third anniversary of the project coming up, a giveaway is being held to distribute some awesome prizes out to new players.
Included are ships, PLEX, Second Decade Collector’s Editions, and even some limited edition signed books!

Holy crap, y’all, another year, another giant pile of assets accumulated and another amazing batch of players helped. We’ve helped new players, down-on-their-luck players, and corporations just starting out. We’ve helped many others find good homes. We’ve sponsored community events like Theomachy, The Newbro Toy Drive, and RIP Pop Paddi. It’s been pretty awesome watching the community come together again and again to help me help others. And it just keeps getting better.
A lot of you may have noticed that I’m not as active as I once was. This was a culmination of computer problems, an endless deployment, and a disgusting amount of RL issues. No matter what, though, I’ve made it really easy to get a hold of me, both in-game and OOG. I’m not going anywhere, and neither is the project. I’m here to help for as long as you can stomach me, or until the wallet runs dry– which may take a lot longer now, thanks to an amazingly generous donation from Major JSilva— one final act of kindness before he left New Eden for good.
Thanks, Major. I haven’t even spent 10% of it yet, but that’s about to change. A looooooooooooooooooooooot.

From now until midnight UTC August 27, new players can send an Eve mail to The Angel Project (that’s the name of the toon), a tweet or reply to this post to enter the drawing. I will put all the names into a hat and draw out 12 winners. Before you go create a new account, let me state the one and only rule: ALL ACCOUNTS* MUST BE MORE THAN 30 DAYS AND LESS THAN ONE YEAR OLD!!! I’m using The Angel Project’s birthday, July 27th, to determine ages. Just to reiterate and clarify: your toon must be more than 30 days and less than one year old as of July 27th, not by the end of the contest. All entries will be verified. Yup. All of them. (I can’t even tell you how much fun that is . . .)

Continuing the “Might as well empty the whole damn wallet” theme, one Grand Prize winner will receive ALL THREE Mordu’s Legion ships: a Garmur, an Orthrus, and the wonderful spatula-looking Barghest (I’m completely convinced that whoever designed these ships skips breakfast and regrets it all day. I mean, there’s really no other explanation.)
