Our first item on our list is of course, PLEX. It is trading at around 800mil in Jita, so right now it is a good internet spaceships investment.

Hardware

If you are a bit like me, you might have a bit of cash set aside for a yearly performance fix in the computing department. EVE is running slow? A video card might be just what the doctor ordered. EVE Online is a truly beautiful game, and its not an bad idea to invest in a video card to make it justice. Here are three quick recommendations:

Low End

[ AMD R7 250X Series ]

AMD has the upper hand here, the Radeon R7 250x is the best choice in the “bang for the buck” department.

Mid Level

[ AMD Radeon R9 270X ]

I used to own this one and boy it worked wonders! In some offerings you might find it up to $100-off from the original price tag.

High End / Performance

[ Nvidia GTX 780 Ti ]

I happen to own the GTX 780 Ti, which I use for video compositing thanks to its CUDA capabilities. Now, for games this is a monster and although a bit expensive for the casual gamer, any serious gamer will justify the price tag for a seamless experience. My setup include this card and 24GB of DDR3 RAM and I can happily report Triboxing at full res without a hitch.
