Shadow Cartel had a successful day of hunting yesterday. Thirteen capital kills and one supercapital kill. Who wouldn’t be happy with that?
The first hunt kicked off around 1:00 EVE time in Olin.
We got intel that Easily Excited had bashed a POS in Olin. It helps that we have pilots that fly with near everyone. We decided to put an inconspicuous alt in local to keep eyes on everything. We started making pounces all around the POS and then went about our lives. I formed up our fleet about 20 minutes before hand and had us wait at our midpoint.
Five minutes before the tower timer Easily Excited began cynoing their dreads and carriers to the station and docking to get cap. They all undocked right as the timer came out and fleet warped to the tower. From there we undocked, had our cloaky cyno get in position and light us in.
After we were in, I primaried Count Scary because he was close and I didn’t like his name (always an important part of target calling, if you don’t like their name they should die). From there I primaried down the Moroses, then the Revelations. Somewhere in between all of that the Niddy was able to warp out, possibly due to fitting warpcore stabs and leaving his friends to die… or he just wasn’t pointed.
From there it was just cleanup, as we had known they were Moros heavy we pretanked Kin/therm. All in all I expected to take heavier losses but due to them primarying Deadly Badger who speed tanked them (in a Moros) and TJ Hunt who was in a HG Crystaled Phoenix, I walked away with just 1 dread loss for the sake of 13 capital kills.
After we cleared the field, I got intel that they were rage pinging their blues, Surely Your Joking, to form in T3’s, since I didn’t have time to loot the field we burned all the wrecks. If I can’t have the loot no one can! It was a good fight, EE are usually super careful with neutrals in local and make it difficult to catch them. (Doomchinchilla, FC, Collapsed Out – Shadow Cartel)

Around four hours later. A second hunt ended in a successful Nyx kill in Eytjangard.
Demerz from Doughboys (Shadow Cartel) spotted a Heron the day before.
“I was going to kill it, he cynos in a Nyx. Sadly, it manages to warp off and cloak up before I can get a HIC there to point it. As he logs off, I get his position and tell my corp. We camp that spot with a cloaked HIC. He logged in (24hrs later), point, dead. Funny thing, if he had logged in 10mins earlier he would’ve been able to just get away, because nobody was there.
