WALLT Disbanded

April 13, 2014

A couple days ago CALPEPE, the former CEO of the now disbanded WALLTREIPERS ALLIANCE annouched a closing of his alliance.

Alliances disband for numerous reasons: Nobody wants to take over, no future, or a strong leader who is has too much going on in real life. All corporations are going to be joining The Initiative who have been flying with WALLT for a long time now.

CALPEPE wrote a good bye piece which you can read yourself

FAREWELL, WALLTREIPERS ALLIANCE

With a tear about to slip from my eye (the very same one that’s about to pop whenever I see the killboard)…

I would like to share with you a first-hand news, WALLTREIPERS ALLIANCE is closing it’s doors.

Saying that plainly sounds awful, specially for those of us who have lived this period together, those who have fought their way through it. But looking back in time, I’d like to think we haven’t done it all that bad, we never pretended to be an example to the community, we simply wanted to create a place for all those Spanish-speaking corps. A place to enjoy this game, forming fleets in which we all spoke the same language, always respecting it’s status as corp.

We are currently bound by a deep respect that has been forged through countless battles, since we’ve had the best of the hispanic community amongst our ranks.

For those of you who don’t know us, I’d like to summarize our steps as an alliance in this great game we love so much, EVE.

April 2011

We set off as an alliance, ploughing through the heavens, coordinated with other hispanic corporations. Our goal? To enjoy New Eden amongst friends.

April 2012

SPANI joins our ranks along others, and our time in Delve begins, a very enjoyable period to remember for our most veteran pilots, for it was there and then when we could show the community what kind of material the WALLT corps were made of. The Alamo Scouts, they called us, and against all odds, the international community rewarded us with affection for our actions, something that would come in handy in the future.

November 2012

Among those who most respect us are our brave enemies: TEST, a mutual feeling for they enjoyed as much as we did the conquest of Delve.

We were in Stain back then, ignored by our allies and with an honest offer coming from Mr. Montolio, inviting us to join their ranks. This gave people a lot to think in, and some of us even got angry.

But after a lengthy discussion, we took the step, HBC accepted us with enthusiasm and assigned us a difficult task for us to accomplish on our own: to eliminate Russian presence in their sacred Esoteria.

Later on we were reset, apparently with no reason (this was due to TEST’s new leadership). There we were, in a region of space which we had not chosen, along with all the neighbours that had also been reset. This resulted in a fierce fight against the entire Russian front all the way from Stain, originating Dinner Coalition.

We had to repair every single day, late into the night, though not everything in this feud was negative, since Init. offered their invaluable and unconditional aid, fighting against, possibly, one of the most persistent and resilient communities in this game.

It was an entire year nonstop, playing against relentless enemies who granted us glorious battles, day after day, night after night.

A year later, with all our neighbours KO, only WALLT managed to maintain their sov (once again, huzzah!).

WALLT, 13TH, NXO, DPAR, C-WAR, ZATX, BREVE, ZFIX gave their best in this period, managing to form fleets of up to 100 pilots, something rather remarkable for us.

November 2013

A new horizon reveals itself ahead of us, INIT. and WALLT join CFC, who suggested the conquer of Querious.

We sadly grinded our way, with no glory, for all it’s inhabitants never revealed themselves to stand their ground.

This were our begginings in CFC, where we have been very comfortable, with an impeccable treatment from their leaders. We enjoyed a war where we participated in the history of this game as a member of the community, sharing victory and joy with our allies.

WALLT, 13TH, SPANI and SIDVI remained unbeatable, as always.

April 2014

We come, however, to a critical moment: the vicissitudes of life, both in and out of EVE, bring us to a situation in which maintaining an alliance leadership is complicated. Transfering leadership is considered but, even though there’s qualified people, no one steps up to take the lead, for they are aware of how sacrified such labor is, and just how high the previous CEO set the bar.

After ardous and lenghty discussions, all corps decide unanimously to offer ourselves to Init. for they share the same values. This way, united, we will be prepared to stand against the new challenges that await us in the future. Thank you for BR, CFC.

I would like to thank all of those who have taken part in this great journey, specially Init.

And remind our enemies that we will still be there for them, just as we hope they will be there for us.

Cheerio, darlings.

Note: This was a translation of his original post which was written in spanish

WALLTREIPERS ALLIANCE
was a strong alliance that faced many wars since their start in 2012. Most of their fights where located in the south, being great allies to -A-, HBC and even the Dinner Squadron. After these wars ended, WALLT followed INIT into the rankes of CFC.

I’m sad to see a good alliance disapear of the map. Yes, but they all have found a good home to continue their glory. Hopefully the break of being CEO of an alliances gives CALPEPE enough time to do what he does best which is PVPing.
