The comments your making to me are a little hastily. For example, I've just returned from a week long break from eve, had a party, got drunk with some friends, went and saw a movie with the wife, so before you go trying to make the claim of 'this person has no life', get your facts right before hand.
As for Lucian, Maka, even Shadoo, the job of an FC is a very stressful one. When you have a large group of people who are distracting you, you get frustrated pretty easily. Now I've flown with Lucian before, even Maka too, they're known for raging, but that's probably 5% of the time you'd speak with them. The rest of the time they have a laugh and joke around, especially Lucian.
I think maybe, just maybe, you will think about these words a little bit, and not try to be part of a group who only wants to bitch about the small things, or miss-interperate shit.

I guess you've never flown in fleets with proper fleet discipline? Try sperging useless shit on comms in NCDOT or Evoke fleets in the middle of action and you'll be kicked with no questions asked and you really get to fly solo all the way home. In my experience PL is an exception – those comms are often pretty chaotic, but they're also exceptional pilots.

Ever flown with evoke!? They would kick and shoot you home if you're not quiet. I for one absolutely appreachiate this cause it's not only easier to get the commands of the fc but the fc himself understands every intel over subchannels clearer and can provide a much better fight for everyone. The funpart here comes over a different way. First it looks pure military and unfunny, but after such a fight you see it in a different light.
Also there was anywhere in the middle of the video someone giggleing. The whole video seems to me like every pilot in fleet had never activated push to talk. That's a no go in every fleet.
Having FC'd a few bigger gangs (well, up to 60 or so), let me tell you why an FC gets angry.
They have to try and get everyone to do the right thing, keep an eye on enemy gangs, keep the position of the fleet right, watch for cynos and do a myriad of other tasks. Now try and think of concentrating on 15 different things at once while the fleet constantly asks dumbshit questions nonstop for hours. 'How to fly 3 jumps to where the fight is', 'where do I sit the cyno', 'do I align?', 'can I bring a drake?'. That kind of crap starts to really grate on you after you take your 54th fleet out into space and you're still getting asked the same stupid things on comms instead of having people type it up in fleet.
It gets unbelievably frustrating and personally I have a lot of respect for the people willing to do it, whether they rage or not.

I honestly don't see any 'rage'. The dude responded the way I would have expected anyone that has any experience in Fleet Command would have. As an FC there are times where shock value – Battle communications – are used because the cats you are attempting to herd get out of sync or literally will not keep their dumb fucking mouths shut. Thats just the way it is. You can not allow one instance of one fleet dictate the way that you view people from that moment forward. Those bros were probably having a ball that night. Where is this rage you speak of? All I hear on coms is a pretty calm FC who even takes the time to answer some dumb questions that shouldn't even be asked on coms. If the fact that he at a few points demand at least a little bit of discipline, especially after a friendly titan has jumped in, is what you refer to… Then you really need a reality check. Most FC's would have reacted both sooner and in more harsh ways.

The last thing you want is for enemies to have free intel. Ofcourse you tell everyone to shut up again and again. If them spies want intel, they better work for it.
So to next fleets: don't tell if a titan is on grid. Don't tell if a dread accidentally does another siege cycle and don't tell that that Nyx pilot disconnected.
There's a reason for the: "no blue intel" rule. Yes all your coms have spies. And nothing is secret. But at least let those spies work for their intel and not get it from dumbass fleet members.

Lucian is cool but also an ass, I always got same results with less swearing and raging than he and other similar FC's do. Fact is, a good FC does not need to rage to get his point across or the respect of fleet members. However, most FC's in eve do tend to be raging ego maniac assholes, a, it is always easier for that type of person to get to such a position especially in a video game and b, the game attracts a lot more of them than you normally come across in gaming etc.
