Today’s high profile forum exchange comes from the official DUST 514 forums, as the Open Beta ensure a new influx of players into the Eve Online universe, vulnerabilities within the game mechanics are being spotted by these young new bloods.
CCP Nullarbor’s response couldn’t have been more appropriate:
If we all could see the world through eyes these beautiful newborns, we would see the magic in everything… right?

Ah, so innocent and sweet, not yet tainted by the harshness that is New Eden…..
I want one as a pet.
Soon you'll be able to send some isk and hire one as your personal pet for a while
Sadly, this may very well turn off average casual console shooter players who I don't think DUST can afford to deter in the long run.
dude this is just EPIC, maybe someone can start a new bussines with renting "pets"?
sweet … the first traumatic experience about a different game-concept.
working as intended.
Fleet does the flying and apparently for this little guy MI does the crying.
This was great for a laugh…
"This is awesome…"
New internet meme?
I need to think of a way to farm this innocence. Ideas?
Go for the classic "you send me x isk and I'll send you ten times as much in return" scam.
ahhh a virgin picked ripe from the tree……..
"… working as intended."
Ah the concept of innocence. Have we ever been the same way? I can't really remember anymore.
I legit lol'd at Nullarbor's comment.
Welcome to EVE Dusties.
I'm a little sad now.. i am so used to trust my friends without any question and be suspicious with the other couple thousand players.. and trust none of them not for a second. i miss being naive and innocente.
wait till they hit Jita lol Lambs to the slaughter
CCP looks at all the dust bunnies then in a mocking voice says to the scamming hellspawn of eve. "Unleash hell and havest those tears!"
Eve dose not conform to the noob. Noobs conform to eve. Mwahahaha!
I don't think most FPS/console gamers are ready for the harshness of EVE competition. Hell, most people are moved to ragequitting by an aimbot or two. Imagine someone scamming you out of all of your stuff.
Tears, sweet, sweet tears.
Careful…do not let this example of naivety fool you. Many of us know the real deal.
But not enough to change their fate.
