What is Jaberlon 5? Apart from a pun on the Babylon 5 series, here is a 101 given to me when the channel first started:

The disparity between rich and poor is to great in EVE, and the fact that PL are coward, and only attack poor, and weak alliances makes this not possible at all. PL is so risk averse that they have a bluebook(NIP/NAP list) filled with anyone that could hurt them, and avoids conflict with anyone not in that bluebook that could.

On the other hand the size of the fights means that individual players actually matter a bit, and it's possible to actually for the average member to have a decent amount of contact and even influence with the leadership.
The only people who are relevant in the CFC/HBC are the mitanni, shadoo and a small collection of FCs like DBRB. Everyone else is irrelevant cannon fodder.
I've been living in Providence the past few months after all the drama from -A- folding, sometimes carebearing, sometimes fighting. This place is a great place to live to be honest. You live the eve career you want, and there's fights all the time whether you like it or not. It makes going through null sec feel like high-sec.
I wish more of Null-sec was populated and welcoming for all sorts of activities like that of Providence.

Elo's pretty much the only one that looks good in these logs, everyone else is just circle jerking each other, or silent as a mouse, the fact that at any given time goons, and their pets will outnumber anyone in the channel means they can out circle jerk any other entity. The channel itself is counterproductive to what nullsec is suppose to be about, which is war.
I understand the whole block warfare without consequences wasn't planed in this channel, but I'd be interested in what you think of that Endie, I personally think it's the biggest horse shit idea ever, and if some nobody proposed it on the eve-o forums, pretty much every goon that saw a post like that would troll the dude to no end, as it goes against what eve is about. These are the guys controlling the game. The channel itself is run by goons, they pick, and choose which alliance they think should be aloud in it. It's mostly used to slap each other on the backs about how great they are, or to chestbeat about how they killed a provi fleet, or something stupid like that, but it's also used to keep the leaderships of the most powerful, or who goons deems relevant in touch. In the end it destroys content for the line member looking for PvP, and keeps the bot fleets at work.
Take a good long look people, these are the childlike fuckin idiots who are leading you, better wake up, and you wonder why null is shit now
