Без муки нет науки. Adversity is a good teacher.

There is probably no sentence more appropriate for describing Red Alliance – The perennial of EVE. 2013 appears to be the year of revival for one of EVE Online’s oldest alliances. After falling at the hands of Against All Authorities and the double crossing of Solar Fleet they have come back from the brink to begin taking back their ancestral homeland of Insmother. Since 2007 C-J6MT has been known as RA Prime; the main hub and focal point of Red Alliance’s empire. Red Alliance has also played host to some of the most unlikely alliances in its time. Goonswarm had a brief stint there when they were invited to live there with RA.

Since Red Alliance’s inception they have fallen approximately three times but after a hiatus from the main stage they have picked themselves up, dusted themselves down, and got back to business. Some have greeted a resurgent RA with boos and hisses of disapproval, others have said that null sec is now doomed and some have applauded at their turn around. No matter if you hate their guts, you can’t help but be impressed at how they pull themselves together and come back stronger than before.

Red Alliance was born on 2005.02.21 and is second only in ranking to Curatores Veritatis Alliance by activity and age. There have been other alliances before them that have come and gone but Red Alliance has been a constant for the Russian speaking population of EVE; becoming almost a monument to their play style and desire to succeed no matter the cost. In the last month RA has seen a boost in numbers, with alliances disbanding and entering RA itself to strike back at the disloyalty of Solar Fleet. Groups of players that would often not work together have gathered under the banner of Red Alliance to claim back Insmother for its normal inhabitant as well as forget old grudges to fight a common enemy.

With Against All Authorities scattered to the wind and Red Overlord no more, the stage was set for Red Alliance to come back with a bang and that is exactly what they have done. With one of the stalwarts of EVE coming back, it shows that alliances of any size can fall and rebuild depending on the loyalty and determination of their players. You can be the size of the biggest alliance in the game, or the smallest alliance and be steamrolled out of your space. It simply depends on the people that make your alliance standing up, shaking their fist and uttering…

…Бу́дет и на на́шей у́лице пра́здник. There will be our turn to triumph.

You forgot Ushra'Khan. They might not hold sov any more, but they're certainly still out there.
