I am posting both replies from Montolio and Gummi Worm regarding the article titled “THE HONEY BOTTER COALITION – AN EXPOSÉ ON BOTTING WITHIN EVE ONLINE’S BIGGEST COALITION”. I’ll dissect the responses in a final third article, as I’ll also bring more information into the table.
For the time being, here are the unadulterated responses.
Montolio’s address to TEST Alliance
I won’t link the post here, but they have a post that involves logs with my name in it. I was not contacted for a response to the article or to fact check anything in the article – I must point out that TheMittani.com writers frequently contact me for comment. Anything you read on EN24 is one sided, not fact checked, and not researched. The logs are also doctored.
Anyways – the post involves me talking to rmf Horus asking him for ISK mostly. I can confirm I did ask him for ISK, but only to serve two purposes:
1. Scamming rmf Horus
2. Turning in information to CCP
Nynjato was assisting with my scam, he can confirm my side. I was going to petition in the ISK and see what CCP let me keep out of it. But I never received any ISK because The Jagged Alliance collapsed a day or two before I could finish the scam.
With regards to turning in the information to CCP, I’ve been hunting and reporting rmf Horus actively since he attempted to take over Tribal Band shortly after the merger between 99/TASHA. Below is an email I sent to CCP after that event.

I know another persons (not corporation) that given isk to tribe.
Now with our assistance tribe doing a lot of money with moons reactions, somebody say this thing “investement”.Tribe’s members must provide api account on test service, (test alliance alias montolio can check where we are, what type of ships and our isks personaly and corporation). We don’t have a lot of billion like somebody said (krall?) And somebody sold supers for isk, you can check on eve forum.

It true one people (ceo of corporation that was kicked from tribe) convo me on eve. the part of eve chat is true.
Then we gone on irc channel (because him didn’t talked in eve, i didn’t ask to him to gone out eve, he said not me), but what he wrote on irc channel is not true, we talked about how we doing isk, how make a scam (you can check our contract, yes we doing money also with this, it is not a mistery).What he said about bots it is something that he invented. I don’t know why tribe’s kick their corp but put bullshit on my corp is not a good choice, Why you don’t ask to triget about how aliance doing isk? why you don’t ask to him to give you a screen about alliance wallet? instead to put bullshit about people? don’t say Blood and Sand give billion and billion from botting to alliance without evidence.
And then why we need to pay to stay in tribe (a lot of people don’t think tribe is the best alliance in game) ??? We don’t farming and we don’t need 0.0 space, don’t you think if we need 0.0 space we can rent one for less price???
Krall is famous for said what he want also manipolate and put bullshit on people. He don’t love us like we don’t love him (maybe he need a girl friend), it is simple. This is not the first time that he tried to put bullshit on us:
he tried to threaten me with 100b about “i said to ccp that you are a botter” i told to him perfect petition me, i don’t have anything to hide.
When he didn’t received isk. he wrote some post on italian forum with bullshit (same thing that you wrote on your post):

Then he traied to said to tribe leader about we want “conspire” with lee chanka (when tribe have few systems in PB and AAA was in powerfull) with some evidence (copy and paste a text, very very evidence) you can ask about this to triget.
Don’t trust in people that don’t play eve, only botting for doing RMT: waste the game (doing bad things like this, dispand alliances) and waste CCP incoming $.
About people are in my corp that before was in unt*, is not a against eula recluting people, italian people on eve are a few like 100-200, people with experience less.
Why there isn’t big italian corporation, because italian people like krall amarr are envious and want to destroy everything.
People need to know things before say something.

I have no idea if any of this is true however ccp are going to need a he'll of a lot more than irc logs which anyone can edit/create in notepad.exe.
Sadly, text on a document can be made to say anything. Copy and paste to a new destination and who's to say what was put in when. CCP knows; if it was in game they should have the same information as the botters themselves (if any).
The problem is FAITH in the SYSTEM, or in this case the utter lack thereof. This is exactly why the adjudicator can not tarnish themselves: EVER.
People are flawed – systems are flawed, and the past IS the past. People, however do not forget. So much went on for so long that now, the always-honest are paying the price for not cheating while the getting was good. EVE is pretty violent so hopefully the 'stuffs' gotten ill from these exploits (both in and out of game) will eventually fade away. Still, anyone who's played an RTS can tell you one extra gatherer 3 seconds into the game has a huge impact 30 minutes later. The difference is in EVE it's not one guy it's several accounts at once, billions of ISK and years to grow that 'investment' to maturity.
There's only one way to go from here; do everything going forward from a clean slate. You don't know them, they don't know you – there is no past, there is no excuse, they have no future.

Can you link to the sections of the EULA supporting what you claim? Most people that deal with renters touch contaminated ISK at some point. People have petitioned ISK before to clean it.

You should also keep in mind the various other accusations coming up against TEST and the HBC in general. I always get a little skeptical when a lot of people with little to no corolation to one another start attacking one entity. Botting, unprovoked aggression, player quality control, etc. Makes you wonder, when the only responce you get is essentialy "THEY ARE LYING PLEASE IGNORE, I AM RIGHT" who on earth is really lying. The HBC is really looking bad at the moment.

At the end of the day you have to look at the claims that riverini and the crew "doctored the logs" with a sense of disbelief. Unlike Montolio, whose reputation among scammers means very little to his long-term game plan, you have to wonder why Evenews24 would go through THIS much trouble to do something like this.
If these logs were doctored, the entire reputation of this site is fucked, and then there is no point. Riverini has far more to lose than Montolio. Because of that it is hard to believe the logs are doctored.
Also Montolio has claimed that he was trying to scam Horus… but does that not prove that such a conversation would have to exist?
Also one more thing. If anyone here doesn't think HBC has botted – past, present, or future – you are smoking some damn good crack.
Don't forget evenews sent all this information to CCP. CCP will have to cross-check something. Bottom line is someone here is lying, and I doubt this site would throw everything away to make an accusation like this without some grounds.
Montolio never said how riverini doctored the logs – for all we know he might base that claim on a technicality (replacing jabber usernames with readable names).
Any story like this one should be dealt with by CCP alone and CCP given a chance to respond to the whistleblower. Putting any 'evidence' out to the community does more harm than good. Everyone is innocent until proven guilty and in this case CCP are the judge and jury. I have no respect for logs that are copy pasted whether true or not. Please don't post articles like this again as they are dirty and cheap ways of attacking the players whom might otherwise be totally innocent. A simple petition in game is all that is required. This site loses any credibility it might have when 'expose' are published. What you are in essence doing is going behind CCP's back. Have some faith and respect for the developers of Eve and the players who support it. -1 from me for this one.

It obviously started way back, the odd reimbursement, the spawn a few rats for a mate but has become more corrupt over the years. The T2 lotto mockery when BOB managed to control 80% of the games t2 BPO's – the lol "oh we managed to find a bug which fills silos if you happen to setup things in a certain way" bullshit which was no bug, it was made that way and only got noticed years later when the whistle got blown.
My main problem is that by doing this certain people are making out of game livings from this wealth being sold as real money, if these people are linked to CCP in any way that means CCP are basically a bank because the in game isk actually does have a real world intrinsic value and they if they are linked to said cheating about it becomes fraud, as they are defrauding customers regardless of what their EULA states.
In short i don't see a fix, baring sacking all CCP employees who have any say over things security who have any link to in game politics and rewrite their entire employment contracts to state interfering with in game mechanics, markets, etc is gross misconduct.
Clean up the GM's and basically nuke the server so everything almost goes back equal.
People with massive wealth didnt earn it, lets be straight here its either scammed, manipulated markets with game mechanic failures, cheated with info fro gm's, anything but done what they should have been doing to make is which is shooting rats!
But the only way to stop this RMT is to remove that wealth, which yeah isn't popular but resetting it back, every toon of a set age gets a set amount of isk and we get a reset day – no more massive blocs buying everything with trillions in bot and dodgy goo isk, just back to shooting each other and fighting for randomly spawned moons which run out and spawn somewhere else so it can't be monopolised and ultimatly lead to basically defrauding customer base or thousands to fix a game so you and your mates can win at it and make more money RMT'ing the ingame assets!
