It takes a lot of courage to be able to stand up and speak to a large audience. However, from time to time, people will just throw themselves out into the limelight and see how it goes. While some people sink, many will float. Amongst the floaters are three people named Bronya Boga, Cethion, and Longinius Spear from the corporation Semper Ubi Sub Ubi [SuSu]. These three men host a bi-weekly podcast titled “Down the Pipe.”
If you enjoy a podcast and are looking to move into a wormhole, take over a wormhole, are new to wormholes, or a veteran of wormhole life, D.T.P. should be on your browser’s bookmark list. The podcast is at most two hours long and it discusses tips and details of prolonged wormhole occupation, highlight interesting battles or campaigns, and it hosts a notable weekly guest speaker. It is important to mention that the hosts do a really good job of providing helpful links in their show notes; check it out!
On December 31, Eve News24 managed to interview with Bronya Boga about Down the Pipe, its production, guests, and more.
[04:38:41] Captain Sunflower > What Inspired you and your cohorts to make this podcast?
[04:40:11] Bronya Boga > Originally it was the interest in the metagame of EVE. I started listening to podcasts and I caught myself often trying to talk with the radio. The actuall push came from FrFrmPukin from podside, he offered me to do a null sec podcast.[04:40:35] Bronya Boga > I decided a WH podcast was better.
[04:41:00] Captain Sunflower > Do you find a lot of support within the wormhole community for your podcast?
[04:43:18] Bronya Boga > Very much so. The WH community didn’t have a podcast since Lost in EVE moved to Nullsec and it left a big gap which the whole community is really desperate to fill and Down the Pipe is doing just that.
[04:44:31] Captain Sunflower > Recently you hosted Two Step, the Wormholer currently elected to CSM 7, how hard was it to procure him and other guests to your show?
[04:46:51] Bronya Boga > Two Step said yes right away, he was very happy to come on the show. As far as other guests, I wouldn’t say it’s been hard, we have been getting more and more people that want to come on the podcast.
[04:48:04] Captain Sunflower > What would you say has been the hardest aspect of making Down the Pipe a regular show?
[04:49:58] Bronya Boga > Not to sounds to much of a PR guy, nothing really. Its been a constant enjoyment, from getting guests to talking to listeners or editing. So really its been a pleasant experience without any real “hard” parts
[04:51:43] Captain Sunflower > Do you have any plans for future developments you would like to hint at?
[04:53:45] Bronya Boga > I really don’t have any secrets about the cast, I am hoping to have some kind of debates, for lack of a better term, for the next WH CSM representatives.
[04:54:54] Captain Sunflower > What do you hope DTP will accomplish? Like, what are you making DTP for? You mentioned Lost in Eve leaving a hole. Is it just to fill the gap they left?
[04:57:35] Bronya Boga > I suppose the main goal is to have a podcast for the WH community where the community could get news, interviews of interesting people, CSM announcements, general WH knowledge. We love the WH community and this is our way to give back
[04:58:19] Captain Sunflower > Lastly, is there anything you’d like to say to all of New Eden? Any shout outs you’d like to give as well?
[05:00:38] Bronya Boga > Just that if you never lived in WH’s, don’t make assumptions about it, and don’t be afraid to jump an EOL WH to get a fight. As for shout-outs, I’ll give it to my corp Semper Ubi Sub Ubi.
I’d like to say, for a few last words, that Down the Pipe is a good podcast. You can tell these guys put their time and effort into the show. They’ve got good guests, good stories, and good advice. Take some time out of your ship spinning day to download and listen.

This is a new feature of EN24 where we'll try to start featuring those obscure figures from the Wormhole underworld, either be podcasters (as in this one) bloggers, alliance leader and such.
Hope you enjoy it!

Don't just limit it to WH residents dude, let's see some figureheads from low-sec and dare I say it, high too. There's a lot more to the game than 0.0 and Chribba, so it's great to see something like this get started!
You are right, is it short sighted to simply limit it to WH. duly noted.
Yea, I agree wholeheartedly with this sentiment. While lowsec and WHs might not have the biggest fights I'd say the fights generally have a better story behind them. So maybe focus more on the people and stories behind the fights while letting the fights themselves be more of a icing on the cake kind of thing.
Nothing but attention whores, nobody gives a fuck about who is who in wormhole space.
Yet you botherd to post…….
if you dare, pick 15 ppl from your alliance and go inside a wh, and we will see how it ends..
As a wormholer I am a big supporter of DTP since day one, these guys are doing a great job and the wh community appreciates it. I hope it will continue to spark more interest in wormholes and potentially bring in more targets — erm, players, into wspace!
A link to the podcast *may* be helpful
Oh I found it. Smallest hotlink EVAH.
Props to these guys , but come on …. not to toot my own horn … But for over a year myself and 3 -5 friends host a LIVE WEEKLY show on eve-radio… up until about 2 months ago it was 3 hrs due to station changes its now 2 hrs … We talk about everything EVE .. we regularly have CSM members on with us and again we do it live … no editing … which also means as we are talkign about stuff and arguing or "debating ' listeners are free to interact with us in the ingame channel or even come on TS with us… Yes this is a plug, but its also to show that while podcasts are nice … they can never top live shows .. sorry
in which ur drunk and talk about jerky
All the support is much appreciated. I hadn't really realized how many people in W-holes listen to us until we had a brawl in our chain the other day.
The fight concluded (we lost) and when we were all putting "GF" in local, the other guys said "Are you going to put that on the pod cast?" It made us all laugh and we felt space famous.
The only downside of this publicity so far is, people know we bring a fight… so they try just a bit harder in each engagement. It makes it harder for us when we are just out to lol around. It also makes it a little harder to bait with corp related chars. Not really a complaint, just a observation worth noting.
We are also recruiting BTW, convo me in game — Longinius Spear
