According to a fresh BR from Lord Maldoror of RnK, this is what happened.
Lord Maldoror > Broken Toys were trying to cross our home system with a Geddon/Guardian fleet, and eventually chose instead to return to a tower in Ussad, jump a titan to it and then bridge themselves across us.
That proved to be a fatal mistake! RnK friends from Pure Madness bridged in and tackled the Erebus at a 200km spot. The UMAD guys heroically held the Erebus down while under fire from the BT Geddon fleet. Relief came soon after when RnK arrived in a Vindicator heavy fleet.
EVE being EVE, things escalated rapidly. Broken Toys are blue to -A- so after a batphone, an –A- Tengu fleet arrived to save the Erebus that was deep in structure at that point. Despite their efforts, the titan died in a colorful explosion!
Kill Report of the titan death
At that moment PL, who are always eager to kill supers, arrived on the field in a Caracal fleet and engaged –A-, even though Tengus are the heavier ships.
After a short and brave brawl, PL and RnK decided to reship, considering that RnK Vindicators aren’t ideal to fight Tengus at range.
After extracting their capitals, the RnK fleet flew back to Nakah and picked a fight with the –A- Tengu fleet on the Raha gate, while gradually reshipping into Navy Apocs during the fight.
The second engagement favored RnK, and in the words of Lord Maldoror: “We came out on top but it was a hard-fought, enjoyable battle.”

Actually BT didn't try to bridge on RNK but rather wanted to avoid crossing Nakah at all by bridging home. If they just wanted an engagement they wouldn't have moved back from Rahadalon (next door to Nakah) to Ussad.

From -A- side:
Erebus was just hitting hull as we landed on grid. We had a few suicide triage carriers on standby and the titan's armor levels were reported as we burned on foot – and it didn't look good. We planned to drop the carriers despite knowing PL was logging in supers, but when we finally arrived at destination it was simply too late for the titan, even with triage.
PL left the grid after a short one-sided fight (but they pretty much saved RnK's dreads and other caps). We caught up with RnK at a gate and fought. It was mostly a stalemate which either side unable to break the other, save for a few trades. RnK used two archons iirc and our tengu fleet, which did not have enough tengus, was unable to break triage reps. RnK eventually gained the upper hand, but it was a challenging enjoyable fight.
Would have been interesting to know what would have happened if our fleet had a cyno ready in the titan's system well in advance, and what would have happened to the sieged RnK dreads if PL didn't decided to interfere with a proper fight, as usual.
I'd hardly call engaging 70+ tengu's with a caracal fleet "interfering" but fair enough, i see your point.
I didn't mean it to say that they upset the "balance of power the fight" so to speak, just that things would have turned out very interesting if we were able to engage with RnK and their dreads, which got out while we were busy fighting the PL fleet. Apart from the caps, the RnK fleet was similar to us in dps ship numbers and overall fleet size. Just saying.
Seems that fight took place anyway two jumps later, on the second link. Though I guess against tengus RnK would have found it harder in Vindicators than in Navpocs
so your allowed to interfare with R&k/UMAD vs broken toys fight, but PL arent allowed to bring a clearly inferiour caracal fleet to give R&k a hand? Only reason you couldnt hold down any caps was because you decided to go with a 100mn "coward" kiting doc. You had the capital superiourty but deemed broken toys unworthy to risk loosing 10 -a- triage carrier even when all you needed to do was to buy the titan enough time while you could kill/jamm of the 2 remaining R&K hics on the field.
Also no PL supers was logging in besides 3 bridging titans(exactly to make you want to drop triage), but guess the PL bugyman makes you really paranoid.

I dont know how -a- or broken toys do it since broken toys clearly couldnt give -a- a cyno in system, but when I/we try to coordinate stuff with other entitys I usually try to figure out which possibilities and tools we got and which we need to get sorted. This should be on the top of the priorty check list. A cyno was offered, however it wasnt used as our own much cheaper cynoship arrived in system as we went in anyways.
I too jump in a hic to a hostile fleet in lowsec and die in a fire without lighting a cyno. elite PvP.

First, there weren't 10 -A- triage carriers ready to go. At 3 minutes before we even entered system we only had one triage guy x up. Your intel must be bad if it took an "-A- director spy" to come up with that one.
Second, the titan was in structure when we landed on grid. And we knew its armor levels and how fast it was dropping way before we ever got there. So you can make up complete horseshit and write on kugu how we let it die, when in reality, 10 triage carriers would not have been able to save a titan entering hull at that point. We know you wanted to kill the carriers of course, and we knew you had supers logging in.
Also this is pretty rich coming from a PL duder about tengus kiting like cowards. You designed the 10mn tengu in first place and I'd bet that any fc that isn't pants on head retarded uses it OUT of enemy optimal range, not in it. Calling tengus cowardly for not fighting in range of Vindiciators just makes you look stupid.
Lastly, cut the bullshit on kugu, like the ten -A- triage carriers being ready, or them ever having a chance. Exaggeration is cheap and easy to see through. It was common knowledge to everyone, including the Broken Toys pilot giving us intel that the titan did not have enough time.

We was in your fleet the entire team, we had eyes on your undocked triage carriers in sendaya/doril. You even stated yourself ealier that you had "some" as in plural triage carriers rdy, and now you claim you only had one? backpedal some more about it.

10mn tengus die in a fire to welpcanes and can't even outmanuever a drake fleet. 100mn tengu is designed in same manner as 10mn, cannot be pinned down by scram and long points – can only be webbed. Call it cowardly but the combat purpose it serves is kind of obvious, especially against large massive blobs that 'certain' entities use as a crutch.
Also, wasn't it PL that began the most cowardly doctrine of all time, slowcats? It is convenient to call other doctrines cowardly when it suits you I suppose :p.
you can easily kill slowcats. just grow the stones to drop dreads on them. too bad they don't make 10,000mn ab so -a- would actually use a dread.
If you DIAF to welp canes using the new 25% Bonused tracking HAM 600 DPS 10mn Tengu, you are retarded and should die.
Welp Cane= 1200ish m/s with HUGE sig, and gets full HAM Dmg without. Has 55k/68k with bonuses.
And spits 600 DPS@ 3k/20k Falloff which comes to about 400 DPS using LR ammo its 280-300 at 40km. And to Fit a Nuet they do about 585 at perfect range but better tracking as well.
10mn Hamgu=680 ish m/s with tiny Cruiser sig and very fast for tracking and 10x more agile than 100mn Tengu`s which are like dragsters vs road race cars that can switch direction.
It has 152k EHP/190k EHP with Bonuses. [depending on how much support you need] It also has such high resists it makes repping it a dream come true. Almost 2x as effective per rep cycle from Logi.
Lastly it spits a devastating 540-585 DPS up to 40ish km
Meaning if you engage at 40km and burn ass opposite direction 30 on the low end will spit out what canes do at 3km but all the way until the MWD catches them. 30 also means volleys of 1500 DPS every 2.2 seconds so by the time canes catch up they would have 1500 x 30 x [at least 20 seconds] 8 Volleys = 45k DMG per volley taking a welp cane into deep structure each 2.2 Seconds and not enough time to rep them at all, hell by the time your logi get`s your broadcast that 2.2 seconds is back and even if 1 heals 50% shields your popped.
So in 8 Volleys its 4 Canes gone and same goes for the Logi`s and keep in mind your Scimmis can keep there 40km off of your range where they are safe from Canes where theres arent at all.
A welp cane Group would need 4 to 1 odds to break a 195k Tank with such massive resists.
And with this style fit you all can carry a Web meaning Logi`s get hit very very hard if they get close and tackle actually dies also, I like a disruptor so you can chase a logi and them not escape and make there logi team warp out while there canes are bubbled. Meaning there warp off +warp back on is another 4-5 Canes down.
In fact welp Cane`s are one of the worst choices for a Fleet Hamgu, because they have similiar DPS but the Gu has it to at least 35km where as the Cane has it at 3.5km and once at that range the Tengu has literally no sig bloom a close orbit meaning traversal and the Gu has 3x the Tank which is crucial since the alpha is similiar, and while the Canes get into full structure in 1 30 man Volley the 2.2 Second Volley = Death which is about lock time for a Scimmi let alone reaction time, The Tengu wont break shields with 50 perfect Welp cane hits.
So if its anywhere equal in Numbers, anywhere close at all, the Canes are goners. 1 vs 1.8 etc.
You cant have a ship Bigger, way more align speed no tackle except Frigs [which Gu`s can fit them selves] 1/3rd the EHP and the Same DMG and expect a happy ending.
Ontop of that ANY BS/T3 BC Support even from both sides and the canes get insta popped by the Tengu`s while all the support is murdered immediately.
Sorry just dont see canes, Drakes yes because what is a Tengu but a super Drake and they have a big enough tank to last 3 Volleys meaning Reps can reach them within 6 secs but 4 Secs, sorry no go.
And thats only 30 go to 40 or 50 and its 1 pop.
You realize when he talks about welpcanes vs tengus it's usually a huge 300+ welpcane blob going after a much smaller tengu fleet. 10mn tengus in this case would die in a fire. And who uses welpcanes? CFC, HBC, etc.
100 canes vs 100 tengus yeah your analysis would make sense, but that's not exactly the case here.
SOLAR uses LR mael while their pets use welp canes at the same time. (sometimes the use lokis or 100mn ab tengus aswel)
IDK why SOLAR use Maels when Nado`s are 10x more agile and do 70% of the work…In fact 50 Maels usually wastes its Alpha DMG on the primary and then waits 14 secs. Where as Nados do 6k Alpha and you double ROF ontop of the the ability to GTFO, only time Maels should be used IMO is versus Carriers where 100 Maels do 140k per volley.

Next When I think Welp Canes lately, its def not HBC,CFC they are advancing to more BS and T1 cruiser gangs.
WelpCanes lately has been almost Exclusively Elo`s 120 Welp`s so a solid 30 man Hamgu+50 man Nado`s= Canes completely die.
I do agree WelpCanes can do well but since they nerfed the 425`s/Nuet ability, they aret the same Glass Cannon`s they were, they really are less effective. But they have huge DPS output at brawl range and are cheap as fuck to replace….They just the New Drake.
But TBH the Hamgu will do way way better vs WelpCanes than Loki`s would and Legions.
