I've yet to see bombers bar actually accomplish anything. In HED when the HBC took the station they killed 1/2 of their own fleet with bombs.

I recall a large number of battlecruisers (roughly 1:1 +/- .2 isk ratio) going up with them. Every time a non purple explodes we've accomplished something. The only part that most dislike about losing a ship is having to take the time to go fetch a new one. Fun is had, few shits are given, we're winning our game… are you?

BB kicks ass! if this is what being a "Scrub" "Nub" is all about then I say bring on Scrub! I have not had as much fun in EVE till I joined the guys in BB. There FC has some much positive Enthusiasm for it you can't help much like it. The guys are great and enjoy being there. You don't have to join anything but a channel to go blast people in the Face in there 100m + ships

A bunch of nerds hiding out cloaked where nobody can touch them until they feel safe enough to drop their tiny cute little balls for 90 seconds to gank some lone pve cruiser, before scramming off and hiding again and proceeding to slap each other's backs on how awesome they are.
Guys i have nothing against what you do. Its a sandbox game you can do whatever you want, and "winning" is just having fun. Good on you for bringing more people out to the nullsec game, but enough with all the self aggrandazing speeches. You play an intentionally risk-averse strategy to get easy kills in large groups, no different from high sec afk gankers or pilots preying on shuttles in low. You dont have a legit reason to be talking yourselves up as notorious or farming tears or fears from any serious entities.
Hearing you guys boast reminds me a lot of Mac in Its Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Mac thinks he's gods gift to the worlds of fighting and security, but in reality everyone just watches him demonstrate childish karate moves in an empty bar while thinking hes a moron with an exaggerated perception of self.

It sounds like its tons of fun and you should do what makes you happy, whether its spreadsheets, mining, .01 market wars, or waiting for that easy kill after sitting cloaked for 90 minutes. Risk averse implies doing everything to avoid risk. Taking cover is not risk averse, hiding out on the fob is risk averse. The bombers bar doctrine is not dissimilar from playing station games, but not worrying about weapons aggro as you have warpoffs and covops cloaks to avoid the 1 minute dock timer to safety.
Again, totally valid tactic (read my post again, mongoloid), but you dont see anybody cackling about how great they are atthe station undock.
Actually taking cover is risk averse. Using tactics and strategy are ways in which you lower the risk in which you lose. Cloaky ships are another flavor of that. We have zero tank (tanked bombers are a joke) in exchange for using tactics and timing to get a kill. Sorry if killing bombers is not something you've figured out how to do yet. I'm sure all the furious face rolling rage you so neatly place on the internet, will make it stop.

i'm surprised that you are focused so heavily on the definition of a word, but i'll bite since you still don't get it. you are using the definition of "risk aversion" in a financial sense, as in reducing risk when possible. that doesn't apply to general life, or combat, where risk aversion is defined as a strong, sometimes excessive avoidance of any kind of risk. the act of refusing to leave a FOB, or a station, or hiding with a cloak only until you're absolutely sure you have target you can beat, would be a great example of risk aversion. taking cover, using tactics, etc, is not risk averse as it still requires the audacios and bold application of combat power to succeed and still involves great amounts of risk, whether you are tanking, or keeping your transversal up, etc. that's called "risk mitigation."
you may think that showing how many billions of isk you've killed is the qualifier for an argument, but whether i have 1 kill or 10 thousand, it doesn't change my argument or its validity, so maybe you should focus on reading comprehension rather than splitting off on tangents.
again, plenty of ships are capable of targeting, catching, and killing bombers… but those aren't the ones you target, are they?

From my side, if I see Bombers Bar, I'll probably go "Shit." then lololol as my ship and pod are probably disintegrated. If I see another nullsec gatecamp clusterfuck session, I'll probably go, "Meh, this again. Boring."

Some people underestimate the lols payoff of a tactics that are risk averse but also results in whole fleets suddenly exploding like semtex loot pinatas with little or no warning. Also tears siphoned in the right way can give you immortality, its all about the distillation process.
Record your face next time your whole fleet explodes. You go from ; ) to *o* in like a second.
Also, people that don't give a little respect to the group have probably never seen how fail most bombing attempts generally go.
