I don't really know why but I want that new Vargur and I want it now. It must be the curvy wingy bits on it – never really seen that sort of thing on a Minmatar ship but holy fuck does it look awesome.

Can't say I am impressed at all with any of those & was actually expecting a lot more.
Those frigates are really not impressive & personally I would of liked to see 4 NEW ship hulls but as with most things EVE these days it would of been too much work to go the extra few yards.
New Stabber/Vagabond, Tempest/Vargur, 4 new destroyers, 1 new ORE frigate… Troll harder.
Daum vargur looks beautifull. Same as the new pest. Firgs, meh fuck them. Would prefer a skin editor myself then ccp wasting time and resourses on colouring skins.
Heron and Probe are swell. Magnate pretty uninspired, but either way; beautiful ships that nobody will ever see because they'll be cloaked. Imicus is fugly.
the vargur is absolutely beautiful. I think the S shape of the sails and their wonderful geometry does it, but maybe its the way the patchwork hull and giant thrusters interlock. But it could be the dual sensor masts jutting out like rams.
sorry but this shit looks bad … the frigs look bad and well … the new pest hull is "ok" . the Heron whatsoever looks pretty damn dope though

im not impressed with the skins, probably because they need to do some serious remodeling on certain ships. yes yes, they are ships weve all come to love and know.. but seriously, who the hell designed the imicus? even apes would get a better model out if given the chance.
Thing is, CCP gets the same hulls, adds like 2 little things to the ship, change the color scheme, say it belongs to a faction and bam! there goes ur individual signature look. really? why not actually change the model a bit but base it off its old one, give it the new color scheme and name it be a better overall reason to want to get it because its "actually different" in so many ways rather than just stats and color scheme.. i mean CCP did awesomely well on the bombers, so why cant other class ships get the same love? especially the ones that look so fucking horrendous… just to name a few. Imicus hull, Moa hull, Celestis Hull just to give a few names.
As far as I'm aware, CCP are planning on replacing all the ship hulls eventually. We're getting 10 I think this expansion(I can definitely say 9 new hulls, but can't remember if the new Mega is in this update or not – for the record, 4 new dessies, ORE frig, Tempest, Vargur, Stabber, Vagabond) which is a hell of an output frankly. And let's not forget all the work they've been putting into V3 graphics over recent months.
I wouldn't get your hopes up for a really radical redesign for some of your hated hulls however. The Maller and Scorpion were sex in space, but the Raven and Drake were underwhelming to say the least. I wouldn't mind a new Moa but let's face it, it's a talking point. It's one of those ships that it's embarrassing to lose to purely on its aesthetics. Every game needs its ugly duckling. Definitely wouldn't say no to a new Celestis hull though!
To end this rather long reply(which was never meant to be this long) given that CCP has set a nice little precedent for the most recent T2 hulls(Vaga, Bombers) I would be actually getting my hopes up for all the T2 hulls being replaced with something that resembles the original but has actually been developed and evolved into a superior product. I'd love to see the differences between(for example) a Rupture, Muninn and a Broadsword other than colour and if CCP continue to make T2 hulls look different to their T1 base then I'll be over the moon, as you should too. B)
Edit: 11 new hulls – Megathron is confirmed, and no doubt the Kronos will get its own awesome update. Holy crap CCP.
