Venturing into null-sec space for the first time can be a daunting task, specially for new players with a cash discerning mindset. After all, being in null-sec is almost synonym of burning ships. Having a scuffle in Null-Sec is not a matter of “if”, but “when”.

With this in mind, Our Eve blogger JonnyPew bring us the following guide to ensure your first forays into null-sec doesn’t require major insurance adjustments. if your know what I mean.

JonnyPew sayz never ever warp gate to gate @ around 5:30 but he neglects the T3 cloaky nullifer's ability to do so w/o worries of bubbles

whether that bypasses that problem, i believe his point was it is always a good idea to warp to a celestial before getting to the next gate.
      .
but i agree with you, nullifer's have it easy

True but still rather unlikely that someone who doesn't know the mechanics would bring a T3 into null sec. Let alone fit a T3 with a nullifier in the first place. I assume these videos are for newer players anyway and the exception only applies to one variation of one ship type.

Before I had T3 skills I lost a few ships to bubbles in NULL even a covert OPs.
After I got T3 nullifer it made traveling to the ORE stations heck of a lot easier but I was still weary of instalock camps. Still I have made a few trips outta Solitude with transports since then. My perferred way to get there though are HI to HI WH's for larger ships. The NULL pipe to there from the rest of Empire is VERY much shorter then the lo route fer sure

Just what we need, more people avoiding any and all chance of PVP in null sec

Heres a thought, if you are so concerned with running into hostiles, stay in high sec

Quit your whining! EVE is a sandbox game, which means pilots are free to make their own decisions and if someone decides to fly safe, they are more than welcome to do so.

*shrugs* There more to null sec than just blindly running into fights Also I'm sure you don't mind running into 50 man camps when your on your own right? o.-

    3. Just what we need, gatecampers unable to catch those who want to avoid PVP.

Here's a thought, if you're so concerned with being unable to decloak carebears or lock them, play WoW. You clearly have no fucking idea, dude.

He's likely one of those elite pvper who like blowing up clueless newbies who haven't a clue how to fight back, rather than you know, looking for challenging fights >.<

Most of the advice here is known by anyone who currently lives in null I suspect, the people who have most have most to gain from haven't been on the delivering side of a killmail yet.

If you gatecamp to get kills you suck and shouldn't talk.

Yeah because there should be more carebears in null…

But apparently if i oppose that, i'm a regional gate null sec entry point gatecamper…

If you want to avoid PVP, don't go to null sec, it's bad enough out here already with all the risk averse targets, carebears like yourself already have all of high sec to flail around in, leave low and null to the people who want to find pvp, not avoid it.

Are u actually retarded? Or u just like to pretend? More ppl in null sec means more tArgets. As a pvper, I'd love to see null sec turn into care bear land. Itd be awesome. Leave your stupid at the door next time.

Not if you want to fight competent people, if you want to just catch idiots who were trying to move around safely and avoid pvp while being in a pvp oriented region, and gank them, then go ahead, but that doesn't make null sec better

I'm not surprised that carebears and gankers are not understanding why holding the hands of risk averse carebears so that they can travel around null sec safely and avoid fighting, is a bad thing, maybe one day when you actually want more than just easymode from this game, you will understand.

I'm starting to think there are more hardcore carebears in null, given the kill counts in some of the systems lately.

Most bubble camps aren't looking for fights, but for kills.
(Solo cloaky sabre w/ falcon is a combination found everywhere)

I support encouraging more noobs into 0.0, more targets

    Alternately:

Step 1: find one of the hundreds of totally empty systems

    Step 2: Drop probes

Step 3: Find direct nullsec -> empire WH, or w-space chain that eventually leads to empire

Gates aren't the only way to get around town.

Depends… if you have tacticals on gates 200+ off so you can avoid bubbles, given the time it can take to find a good WH to highsec it can be better to just fly the route there…

Unless you have to go through HED then forget it, find another route or a WH or something, that system is permacamped AND THEN some…
