So as you all know after years of cooperation NC. and Ev0ke parted. I will not elaborate on this. It requires slightly bigger article which will be posted soon.Tech moon belonging to Ev0ke was coming out of reinforce in AP9-LV. DOTBros had Rokh fleet ready to go and were waiting for bridge from G5ED-Y. Ev0ke/Ewoks had Beam AHAC fleet. After tower came out of reinforce Ev0ke/Ewoks were first one to bridge into system. DOTBros followed immediately.
Both parties tried to take advantage of range. Fight took place at POS. After warping in and out several times DOTBros fleet managed to position themselves on proper range and started to take out zealots one by one. Interdictors and recons kept everything tackled. Noticing their fleet was melting slowly Ev0kes/Ewoks decided to disengage. They killed tacklers around them, warped to NQ-9IH gate and jumped out. DOTBros chased them down tackling and killing 25 ships in NQ-9IH. Rest managed to escape.
We returned back to tower and continue killing it. By the time when POS entered structure scouts and spies reported, that 400 men CFC fleet was moving towards us to help Ev0ke/Ewoks.
Numbers and fleet composition didn’t allow us to take that fight. It was a bit too much to handle so FC asked to disengage and burn back to G5ED-Y.
This was first battle between two once friendly alliances. Now let’s see how things will develop. Ev0ke sold their systems and moons to CFC and must defend them until it will not be in new owner’s possession, while DOTBros will do everything to make CFC progress harder.

Not a good idea tbh, old cascade space is not in a good defensive position and has one of the most tedious logistic routes from empire. You have to be dependant on your blues to even survive there. I was there, so i know.
Now if they take solar space, thats something worthwhile. Cascade space simply will not be suitable to someone who wants to be independent.
It is always nice to see an old enemy fall. I was in Morsus Mihi. We were head of NC with Razor. Evoke was a little follower. As a German alliance with no 23/7 presence, it is not possible to be a top player on alliance level. However they thought, they know everything better and became greedy. So they became enemies. They winded themselves through various coalitions as Junior partners, always taking much more credit than they deserved. In Delve Evoke outmetagamed MM very badly in big fleet fights, when MM was already fallen. I never forgot it. Now we will be even again and Evoke tastes their own medicine. This deal with CFC was the typical Brutus move. 99 % of them are horrible carebears not able to do anything without their main FC. It was pathetic to see this in Delve.

I am a fan of old alliances who have seen it all and who just don't die. So I do believe that Evoke will rise again, after some serious soul-seeking in Outer Ring or some other NPC null. They need new FCs to step up, and they need to get back to the serious pvp business.
I think 40-50, maybe 60 tech moons and a lot of ratting space made Evoke fat and lazy. Now once they run out of that tech money they'll have to shape up again.
That they're now fighting NCdot isn't really something out of the ordinary – they've done that before on a friendly basis, their bonds go way back and "it's nothing personal", I guess.
Sure, they could've ignored OTEC and stood together with NCdot – that would've been honorable yet stupid since CFC would simply have steamrolled them, being the smaller threat.
After the quarrel with Raiden, Ev0ke got lazy and rested on their Tech and carebear-SOV. They were a nomadic, quite independent force to be reckoned with and should've left Vale earlier. The fights against SOLAR look actually quite nice, why not go there?
I hope they get back on their feet, they sure had their "Spartan Moments".
I think when they do the Dotbros will welcome them back as friends also. I could be wrong but I don't see any spite in this. Hopefully us fighting them will only bring them back to ship shape sooner.

My money is Ev0ke/Ewoks will become Test pet entity quite soon, they are already goon half-pet, and they are just asking for format that will allow them to became full goon pet in a face saving way where they can pretend they did not sell out completely. Getting in to HBC is a good way to do that, they might think it will allow them access to sov 0.0 without having to suck Mitani's dick directly. Shadoo's dick apparently leaves better after-taste.
But I could be wrong in that, maybe they will try to restore some independence, but that means no sov space for them. It all depends if they think freedom and independence is worth sluming in low sec and NPC 0.0.

we all know, what happens with alliances, who go BACK to Syndicate. Maybe they negotiate the next good deal. They could be friends with EXE or Fcon. Or maybe they find some Germans in Test, who help them join HBC. HBC is conquering some new territory atm – you know… I am pretty sure, when Evoke decide what to do in the next weeks, it will become hilarious. In Germany this is called: eine Kröte schlucken.
Funny thing is as much as I love Evoke and it was hard to shoot em, if they brought the numbers they had to help us with GSF Tribute would still be blue and they wouldnt have to sell there moons.
