Huh….Elo was able to use zealots and tornados to good affect against double or tripple fleet numbers in Tribute. Obviously, they did lose in the end, but there are other options than using tengus vs a fleet comp designed to fight Tengus. ^.^

that was a fc mistake. tengus were at 0 when the cyno were lite. tons of apocs jump in and tons of tackle. of course if all the tengus are burning away from the apocs you can instant pop them. and you can instant pop tengus if there are 100 rifters with webs to slow them down.

thats how things work in eve. if you land with heavy tanked closerange ships at 0 on sniper skirmish ships they will all die.
if the fight starts at range, only idiots and suicide tackle die on both sides

1. a smartbomb ship between the tengus and the triage carrier will reduce the dmg.
2. with overheat, fleet bonus and drugs you can reach 30k dps tank on a triage archon. triage runs only 5 minutes, so you have less then 5 minutes to kill 1 mio ehp with just a few dps more than the carrier can tank – if there are no smartbombs.
3.tengus shoot with kin missiles. it isnt that hard to switch to 2 kin hardner as one of a few carriers. if tengus shoot with other dmg types, there is plenty of time to refit.

I jumped my -A- char through amarr space a couple days back, lots of reds and NOOOONe were able to tackle me, only one got my shields to half (woop di freaking doo) this while auto pilot jumping mind you!

points is TEST and goons make noise, but so do empty trashcans. o.0 and i for one realise loosing GE isnt part of the yearly sov give and take and makes this years invasion more noteable, as it is ussually held, but it wont lead to the end of -A-

better skills – you are an idiot. it takes a seriously competent level of organization and diplomacy to find so many guys and get them all in fleet just to kick some shitlords in the nuts.

better ships – you're still an idiot. you have the same exact ships available to you. nobody's stopping you from going to jita and getting your own ships.

Better FC's – you're just an idiot overall. your FC's so far have only proven themselves as able roam leaders, not block level sov fight fc's.

You say 150 tengus cant kill triage ? Asumming 1 tenu does about 350dps (took the low side) 150*350= 362500dps which is way more then any triage can tank so if you cant break them its probably because they are not triage but spider. Also i know you can break triage with way less thenn 100 tengus.
