Video Report: A Day in the South – Tackled Super
We were in middle of a English alliance meeting then suddenly a -A- supercarrier was underattack at a POS near of the bubble in LGK-VP, so we hold on the meeting and quickly formed a fleet to kill some Pandemic Legion carriers/supers if possible.
We made a bunch of carrier kills, but like usually HBC formed a quick reinforcement fleet (Apoc Navy issues) for the capitals that was tackled.

This game is becoming booooooring with all those supers in the game. Not even worth raising an eyebrow if one is killed today.
Was so much more exiting back in the Shrike days.
imo the only problem is that too few supers are lost. 2 years ago a big battle would have 10+ super kills
It will be fun again once alliances catch up to the wealth of PL and start fielding Supers and Titans as actual "Combat" ships.

After fighting AAA for 3 years – am cheering AAA on – disappointed with sister bliss and raiden taking a cowards way out – When i first started playing eve i looked up to alliances like PL but now i look down at them – north is an intersting fight going on – Spartans v Blobs and they are doing well – Goons n friends are broken – i have alot of respect AAA doing what they do and they will come back – they wont tire – i wish them well
How is joining a coalition a cowards way out? Out of what? Init. was never in SoCo, there was nothing to leave.
Becoming TEST pets is a far cry from what Raiden and INIT used to be in their glory days. I guess becoming the laughing stock of eve for some easy 0.0 space works for some.
Instead of taking sov, they begged for it. If Init and Raiden would have conquered the sytsms from TESPL and then joined them, it would have been different.
Even as a memeber of the big blue blob i laugh at their weakness.
Raiden has not joined "a coalition", they joined SOUTHERN GOONS (you see the irony here?) because they are dying and like every dying entity they cling to what they can.
Init? Who cares about init, they have a huge hard-on for -A- since..I don't even remember. They will switch part again and, in the future, maybe the next winter catch invasion, they will try again to fuck us. It seems that we are in every Sister Bliss wet dream.
Perhaps Raiden understood EVE is a game and wanted to have some fun for once? The goal in EVE (for most people i suspect) is not to be the lonely hero, the last stand or to take the "perfect moral high-road".. it is to have fun and play a game.
EVE should never be another job, unless you are in RMT, it should be a game.
INK added a few cap kills, so the Solar/-A- coalition is losing caps at a fun rate.
So while -A- was chasing a ratting carrier. We were having fun with one of their allies destroying daft SBUs and such.

Good question, a carebear alliance with too many supers. But I expect they will regret attacking The Unthinkables/WhySo, considering that IMP-L space is now a ghost land…
SONE live in and around the same area as IMP-L and have decided to go on a SBU spree along with some of the sad remnants of dead alliances/coaltions. More meat for the Tengu Terror.
Solar has moved closer to support IMP-L, but its cost em 200bil+ so far.
Hotdropping 60 onto 10 is Solars new 'get some kills' tactic.
As for -A- I hear they got a problem with Rifter Spawn. Can be terrible this time of year. So -A- rarely make it to support Solar.

How is it a fail? Neither side won or lost here really. It was just a good battle.
Dog net shows -A- only outnumbered by about 50 for about a 1:1.7 ratio. That's probably the best ratio -A-'s can ever hope to expect. If -A- can't win there, they don't have a chane in hell.
So by your logic, if there are 50 frigates vs 50 battleships… it's a fair fight. Ratio isn't all that needs to be considered.
If there are 50 frigs to counter 50 battleships… Someones FC fucked up bigtime ,-) Also, 50 frigs should (given enough time) kill 50 BS if they know how to orbit under guns and tracking.. so actually its the 50 bs who would have a disadvantage here…
It was an example, don't read into it. Who says the BS don't have webs? My point was that even numbers don't mean an even fight.
And to be honest I think TEST had the advantage in this fight as they had the opportunity to counter the Tengu's with Navy Apocs. If you have an opportunity to counter then with the right leadership you should always have the advantage.
