seems you only have this problems with storys belonging to NCdot. if a titan is killed or -A- had a meeting and so on all "facts" are not so important.
this is where you show on which side you are writing. the news itself is not important if it is not in line with the propaganda machine.

The meta game is played through channels (IRC, Jabber, Skype, even in-person meetings) that we don't have access to, so journalistic self-restraint is probably just a red herring. The truth is probably that he doesn't have much, if anything, to add to what's already out there, and so doesn't want to come out as not only late, but also way behind the curve.

No, what i said is that sometimes you need to wait until the whole thing cascade before shedding light, by having an open report on ongoing events, a lose gun can easily find retrain given that he's in the spotlight.

Vince didn't stole the money (shame it would have been a big story), Black Legion. reset (i have yet to write on that) and Wicked Princess isn't that important as she used to be before

Since BL has reset ncdot and moved out to venal I'm pretty sure it's all wrapped up at this stage with supertwinkey quitting as well. Especially considering that systems and tech have been falling over the past few days.

There's no reason not to report it.
