Here is a bit of variety to your daily battle-report fix.

Battle Report: The Irukandji vs Moon Tribe – Immensea Style.

Over the weekend hostilities between The Irukandji and Moon Tribe erupted in an intense battle, which only a handful of pilots were privileged enough to be a part of.

A call was made for a fleet to go harass our neighbours, we had a twelve-man armor battleship fleet, two guardians and command ship support.
We knew that in the right situation carriers and dreads would be fielded by both parties and we were not disappointed.

The hostiles were hiding in NI-J0B solar system, which happens to be their home system, we were waiting on the M-Z Gate on there gate, awaiting instructions from our FC, DARKIFRIT, who was in an absolution and had jumped into the system playing bait.

Sniper T3’s landed on grid 200km away from the abso, and began trying to wear down our FC, but it was not enough, evidentially frustrated by the impressive tank of the command ship, a drake and cane were soon burning into the bubbles and were committing to the fight.

‘JUMP JUMP JUMP’ was called over comms, and as we loaded grid, the drake and the hurricane quickly melted, the sniper T3’s pulled range and primaried our fast tackle, which was saved by the logi.

As we anchored up we began despatching bubbles one by one while taking fire from the sniping T3’s which had little to no effect other then forcing our tackle to ensure that their transversal velocity was kept monitored, even when carriers had assigned fighters to them.

Clearly irritated at our defiance, local started to spike and carriers soon appeared on short range dscan, then without warning a Chimera landed on the stargate, in the bubbles, immediately the carrier was tackled, two more chimeras joined the fight.

Hostile support was warping in and killed almost immediately, our FC was calling for dreads to get the carriers off the field, mindful that with over 30 fighters our logi was under a lot of pressure on the logi’s.

DARKIFRIT, ordered the secondary FC to take over while he reshipped to a dread, meanwhile fighters were being primaried and killed, with hostile support being despatched almost immediately after landing on grid.

The FC then ordered the damnation to light his cyno, as the cyno went up the dreads sieged immediately ripping apart the closest chimera, due to some skill and lack of tacklers our jaguar was killed with the other tackler was jammed.

With the grid held and the hostile fleet cowering in the PoS the Dreads exited sieged and left the field, as we killed the last of the bubbles.

A fun fight for all and great work by the logi’s and the FC’s

- HRTZ out!

due to some skill and lack of tacklers our jaguar was killed with the other tackler was jammed. What?

    • Bob

Their fast tackle was killed or jammed. Made sense to me…

    • CptGreywolf

A typo they got their 2 other carriers off field after landing 30 jamming drones on the vengence, and our jag was killed off, just as the dreads landed. our hic that was enroute sadly did not make in time

  • some dude

    nice BR

well I do not know who these people are, anything about the fight (eve kill down and no fraps,) but they must be cool enough to get an article posted. i will check again when the KM is up. oh and by the way, a little proof reading goes a long way in a BR.

evenews now posting articles for a 16 vs 10?

shit that means my 20 man roams will make evening news every day right?

    • Someone

16 vs 12 – Two of their carriers were there for rep only and only barely made it out, with our 2 guardians as logi they had 3 carriers and couldn't hold the field.

    • Marcus_McTavish

      I hope you get scabies

Atleast they are putting out fights.

    • Bittervet

Go for it. Write them up and see if it gets published.

Mak shutup man I actually liked this article. Its good to read something other than SOCO, Test and CFC.

    I was there.

All in all it was a good fight, lasted 40 mins or so. Chimera went down fast – that must have hurt. Logi most definitely saved the day, there was a lot of dps deployed against us even from 150+km away. I really don't know why they warped the carriers in – for logi maybe? Personally I think someone screwed up on their side, they came in far too close (one was even in the bubbles as the BR said). Lucky for them we didn't bring a dictor or there would be 3 dead carriers.

Anyway was good small gang stuff. To all the nay-sayers complaining about 16 vs 10 or whatever – remember our dread pilots re-shipped. And better 16 vs 10 than 30 vs 2 which is the usual blobs you see. I dunno next time we hold fire till they bring more ppls?

  • AlllBlueeeee

lolz, that was entertaining and fresh. Nice to hear smallish scraps going on, as long as there is a BR.
