Gypsy Band Declares War on Solar Fleet and Allies – Red Alliance tagging along.

A few hours ago Blaster Worm, leader of Gypsy Band alliance declared open war on their former allies Solar Fleet. Here is an exclusive translation of the announcement:

I’d like to announce Gypsy Band’s invasion into SOLAR FLEET’s space. Target regions for this campaign are Insmother and Scalding Pass.

Red Alliance is also taking part in this campaign. They accepted offer from Gypsy Band for returning them space they held before. There are many other small entities that are joining us in this campaign as well.

To arms gentlemen!

Now a bit of explanation:

1. By joining war on SF side against X.I.X. Gypsy Band had a goal of dismantling DRF. Removing from EVE map an alliance that was drowning in RMT and exploiting. Limiting GSF and TEST influence on “Russian” east. All goals were achieved.

During this conflict Gypsy Band set SF positive standings for the first time in it’s existence. Until that time SOLAR FLEET was always sort of main sparring partner for Gypsy Band/Rebellion Alliance. Keeping these standings positive does not correspond with alliance values – “No NAP” and “Having targets within titan bridge range”. So after fulfilling all our objectives in past campaigns we think that respecting interest of our members in priority for us.

2. By keeping NIP with SOLAR we were trying to keep AAA sides clear from conflicts while they were fighting GSF/TEST expansion. But we think that SF is playing double standards game. CFC supporting SOLAR FLEET in war for Geminate against NC. SOLAR FLEET never expressed or confirmed their relationships with CFC. This make us think that SF is not reliable partner in war against Goons.

Different view on this subject among SF and GB leadership caused tension of relationships while ago. That was the reason we relocate back to Curse region. These tensions were mitigated by our diplos, but without removing main reason of this – vision of current political conditions. We have to admit that peaceful methods of solving issues didn’t fit Gypsy Band and it’s pilots.

3. After war against DRF every major entity in that coalition lost it’s space apart from SOLAR FLEET. They left DRF right in the end of it’s expansion. All claims in botting, RMTing etc. can be related to every entity that was part of DRF. SOLAR FLEET is not an exception. This point was not expressed by us due to our participation in war against X.I.X. on SOLAR FLEET side. We were criticized many times by other independent entities for that. By starting this war we once again want to state inflexibility of our intentions in war against unfair play in eve (RMT, Botting, exploiting) and show every similar entity how it all ends.

We also think that this “Burden” is not permanent. It can be removed in case of good will and understanding from player base. All above mentioned forced us to form a temporary coalition with renewed Red Alliance. We are ready to help Red Alliance take back space they possessed before.

So invading coalition consists from:

1. Gypsy Band they their allies: INK, WhySo, DarkSpawn.
2. Red Alliance and their allies.
3. Gorgon Empire

We will inform everyone in case if other entities will join the fight.

This coalition repeating contours of Curse Coalition from last year has a target to reform Eastern part of EVE. Creating interesting conflict for all participating parties. It will be disbanded after achieving main objective – Control of Insmother and Scalding Pass.

    My personal assessment of CURRENT (Sept/Oct 2012) powerblock strength in EVE.

    (1) HBC [If HBC vs. Dotbros, HBC would likely win because of PL]
    (2) DotBros [Solid active & efficient conventional fleet led by competent FCs, high K:D ratio in recent battles]
    (3) Solar [Been seeing increase in conventional fleet efficiency vs. DotBros. Recently achieved series of tactical victories against Dotbros in even # battles]

    -Gap-

    (4) SoCo [Activity & Morale seems to gotten hit due to recent HBC advances, Stalemate in Catch front, Losses on Paragon Soul front]
    (5) CFC [Recent stalemate and severe losses have taken a toll at its fleet activity & morale. Without an elite PVP alliance like PL assisting/leading them, they'll likely have hard time in coming battle against DotBros]

    So, as of now, the weakest link seems to be CFC, not SOLAR.

    I don't quiet understand why Gypsy & Co. targeted southern SOLAR regions instead of places like Deklein if they wanted to severely weaken the already weak CFC.

        You assume Solar has a chance of winning a sov war vs Dotbros. They fought just Evoke/Nc. last time and they lost. That doesn't even mention the fact that they had Gypsy on their side which did the most damage to our fleets.

    Any diversion of solar assets from the Vale area will allow NCDot to fight offensively, instead of the almost purely defensive strategy we've been employing against "the BLOB".
    This is significant as the goons and pets rarely even undock in the AUTZ now, having had their heads handed to them so many times, that now they wont even form up to fight.
    To be honest, whilst saving 12)?) systems yesterday, the dot bros fleets nearly died of boredom, sitting around on titans waiting for a fight that just isn't happening anymore – where are all the goons gone???

    Silent Dodger is back! you are correct. The mindset of RA is nowhere near what it used to be. RA will come back stronger than it ever was, By incorporating USTZ Based english speaking corps along with solid translators for joint fleets will keep the "Gears of war" are turning in a new direction. Adopting a multiple TZ approach such as DOTbros AUTZ platform will turn out to be a thorn in any alliances side. This as been in the makeing since RED.Legion and it has been refined. RA has expanded its member based 400+ members in the last 3 months. As a USTZ english speaking member i have seen positive progression, delve/querious gig was a hiccup. Expect results from this veteran alliance in the future you can count on that. One more thing, DOTbros keep up the good work ;)

That's why they're hitting Scalding Pass and not Solar directly, it's because they're butthurt self righteous idiots that want to parade their war as some religious pull the wool over your eyes good against all evil crusade.

    And it's utterly adorable. Guess what Gypsy and Pets, no one's buying it but goon pets.

    Last few days us 5k guys in DOTBROS have posted 225 man gangs everyday, for god sakes that is an off time zone, 225 members out of 5k = 23%……Now take CFC 35k bringing 300 today and not fighting 300/35k =.008% wow astonashing numbers and you guys had about 1/3rd more and stood own…..Telling us its your tactic to blue ball us to go away….DOnt let master here that,, you will be hung for treason.

    Its looking more like persian [slae army] 300[free army] every day.

    Also Macteps 18-20k has been having 400k sleets at least he does better. at .02%

    Why the hell would solar ever help NC. The people that not long ago was payed by xxdeath (basicly goons) to kick them out of nullsec while their so called bro's raiden died to their now enemy. The people that then propped up a fail coalition against them. The people who then refused to go help against cfc in delve, they where more likely to go help their old honey friends.
    I would certainly go help them!!! P.S raiden used to be proud of their fleet percentages

    I am a proud DOTTER and when Gypsy left Solar they showed eve and even us so called "Tough Guys" that they wernt just not pets but they were just as pricipled andwilling to save Eve from the blue moneters that we are.

    So now we had Mittens teaming with Mactep, even thought Mittens gave sanctuary to Xdeath who betrayed Solar, Macteps Allies AAA also are in a war partially apd for in begining at least by GSF loans……Basically GSF and Solar or Mittens and MACTEP are showing everyone even montoio etc that they are the 2 guys to deal with in Eve…..Us Bros and the Red Gyps`ys are saying no to that.

    Say what you want about Red, botting ETC but hey at least they liked a good fight.

    Now ROL is cutoff and alone from AAA Abandoning them……Hopefully they look est word as well.

    My Dream Eve would be NCDOT owning Dek`s Moons, BL owning Vales, NS owning tribute…Gypsy/RA owning RZR`s space and some of drones. Brick coming around and realizing they on wrong side and keeping alot of Gem. ROL moving north and taking PB/CR and other Tec Areas.

    Basically anyone who comes to help us rid Solar and GSF now will get there own slice…..Not controlled by us and not blue just an agreement for good fights and no Tec Cartel, we would use Mrket PVP just as real as PVP.

    I say everyone in Eve who ever wanted a piece of there own land come and help us even out our 5k vs 35k of GSF and 20k of Solar. Xdeath wake up, RZR please stop being pets we like you, help us and become in charge again like you were…..Guys like Rooks and kings, DND,Mildy Intox, Bombers bar and all great lowsec`ers come and grab Sov with us and rent it to indy corps to run it all and you just rake in isk……The NORTH IS HUGE and we can replace these 35+20k frones with 20k hardened badasses who still fight in other places and eachother but come together when defensing…..Like the Northern Coalition except we will shoot ships on sight :) , if that is how numbers were then I wouldnt mind em, but Blueing everything sharing ratting systems etc is sick……Play Carebear`s unite online.

    And fyi, you can always go back to NPC corps. Just leave a player corp and you end in an NPC corp.

    OK, I assume you've got isk.

    First, buy a combat alt. Then your main stays safe and anonymous in the NPC corp.

    Second, open contact. I'd suggest finding a corp in IRC to chat to.

    Third, using your combat alt and mercs as appropriate, start shooting Goons. I'd particularly recommend things like jump freighters going to or from Goonspace.

    Fourth, regularily inform your contact what you've been doing. Nothing personal, but they think you're a spai, and thats just how it is. But if you've got a consistent stream of high value kills and actionable intel, then you can start working your way up.

    NC + -A- are basically 10 times stronger in any aspect of the game than GSF + TEST + pets of both. And that's not counting NC and -A-'s allies. Actually, GSF and TEST might be better at blobbing, but thatis it.

    Actualy it would be great…..Let AAA Sov get taken by TEST and HBC like its going to when they fallback from stain anyways….But instead of going to sleep fore 3 months coe north fight GSF kill them off with us and maybe carve out new lands, then when we took care of that threat because together we wold have numbers, NCDOT could come back and help fight for more space but TBH instead of AAA staying in Catch beat GSF with NCDOT and take PureBlind1/2 Dek and make 10x what you make of 10 moons alone. AND RENT SPACE

    NCdot are putting up a good fight and it's one everyone on both sides has been enjoying but no sane man would bet on dotbros against the CFC. NCdot are down 40 tech moons and half a region. They may win fights, they may even win the majority of fights, but they are not winning the war by any standard.

    I came back fom a year awat in the miserable desert and while Tec might be nice I would never join GSF ecause thy oen most of it.
