Nah jester read it wrong, a weapon flag will stop you ejecting from your T3 or storing your ship, so you have 60s after you stop agressing where you can't eject or use your orca. Reducing risk free PVP while still giving you options when being ganked, its a good change.

Third moderate size change is kind of interesting. Sentry guns will remain, but they’re being uncoupled from the “S” flag. As far as I can tell, sentries will only shoot you under two conditions.

Interdictors and bubbles play an important part and deserve just as much credit as an interceptor or as a super cap does. I am fairly certain of CCP already looking into it.

CrimeWatch2 is meant to bring uniformity and simplicity. It is its major argument and it outweighs the need of a few pilots wanting to place bubbles and then jump as fast as possible. The idea behind the WEAPONS flag is pretty sweet, and I'd rather look into the reasons of why players need to jump fast after placing a bubble, because it looks like they just want to dodge the timer while at the same time bubbles can mean the death of super caps. Frankly, I fail to see the room for making an exception of the rule.

I also dislike the dictor change, but your logic is incredibly bad. The Km and aggression are two entirely different things. Its like saying "The dictor doesn't get pve bounties, so it shouldn't be able to drop bubbles".

It is the best change of the entire CW2 mechanic in my opinion. All it does is to bind a player into space for 60 seconds. It is as simple as it is beautiful.

It is also going to function as a universal constant in PvP. One can begin to craft fittings with those 60 seconds in mind. Not that people are not doing this already, but it is going to become more common now. Some will try to build tanks to outlast those 60 seconds, others will try to as much damage as possible in under this time. It is definitely going to spark in the fittings department.

Only if you are dealing with braindead stuff. When things are complicated enough it actually makes sense to put some time into something that allows you to manage it better. A better algorithm description, actual states rules, behavioral trees definition and so on.

He's definitely never been a lowsec pirate:

"The tanky frig will warp off, the fleet will kill the target, and then warp to the nearest planet."

Any pirate gang that knows the area will have 1000km+ bookmarks so they can wait out GCC there.
Or their Criminal timer once the changes take place.

They will be tankable, just not indefinitely like they are now.
I don't understand why some people are so adamantly against the gategun changes, it will make frigates more viable in lowsec.

we can extrapolate on this and say that PL's tactic of blapping with supers on station while logis wait in station to rep then dock, can continue with minimum augmentation. Simply, the Super that needs to be repped will have to stop it's aggression a little sooner and let the clock begin to wind down. This way by the time the logi undocks, locks, reps etc, it inherits as little of a timer as possible. Doing this in some kind of cycle should limit the reduction in the supers on stations ability to dish out hurt.

right ?

"The reason: the fleet that includes a low-sec podder will have all its logi “C”-flagged and taking gate guns while the rest of the fleet will probably be safe from them. "

You've never been a low sec pirate before have you? You WANT the guns to spread their fire out as much as possible to reduce their effectiveness at killing you. IF they are all firing on one ship it's hard for that ship to stick around but if they are firing at your whole ARGH PIRATES fleet then its easier on each individual pilot to deal with a fraction of the fire than it is for one ship to deal with all of it.
