The Final timer for the strategic GQ2S-8 station solar system in Paragon Soul was due up yesterday. RED.Overlord and company assembled a HellCat fleet to defend the system, the Against All Authorities Allies agreed to setup a secondary ThunderCat fleet and support them.
Having greater numbers the Pandemic Legion and TEST Alliance plus HBC allies put together four different fleets, a FoxCat one, a TEST DrakeTrain, an AHAC gang and finally a TEST bomber fleet. The FoxCat and AHACs moved to the 4-07MU (catch) solar system to hinder -A-’s bridging.

The Drake and Bomber fleet headed towards GQ2S-8 and jumped in to find the ROL fleet already setup on the gate at range, locked and loaded. A brawl erupted at the gate with TEST Drakes taking initial heavy damage, it wasn’t until TEST alliance bombers scored one good bombing run – which took down half ROL fleet down – that the tide turned into TEST side with the Drake train finishing what the bombers did not.
Shortly afterwards Pandemic Legion supers were called to take down the SBU, the station and the I-HUB.

Meanwhile in Catch…
The FoxCat and AHAC fleets had bridged into the Querious regional gate of 49-U6U and proceeded to jump to 4-07MU, -A-’s staging system. Makalu Zaria was still forming up his fleet when the local count rose. A call for dreadnoughts was made and Tengus were ordered to swarp the sensor dampeners for tracking disruptors, a bomber fleet was also formed up on -A-’s side.
As the FoxCat fleet warped to the station undock the Tengus came out of the station and a fight broke immediately. Despite having similar numbers, the five dreadnoughts Against All Authorities decided to undock make a great difference, added up to the TunderCat DPS and the sporadic bombing runs, the FoxCat threat managed to be contained.
Receiving more than he bargained the PL/TEST FC ordered to fall back to the 49-U6U gate and -A- gave pursuit. Jumping behind them proved a gave mistake on Makalu’s fleet behalf, losing bonuses, having to load grid after the FoxCats and AHAC and not having Dreads coverage put them in a grave position, an opportunity which PL didn’t miss to capitalize. As both fleet started blapping each other, a cyno went up and Pandemic Legion super-capitals slipped through, effectively negating -A- dreadnought deployment on the grid.

With the ROL fleet severely decimated, the GQ2S-8 went to Zombie Ninja Space Bears (HBC holder), marking it as the first station system lost by ROL in Paragon Soul.

During the drake fleet vs Armageddon/apoc fleet fight which is what you're measuring it was closer to 125 vs 125 amigo. I realize that you're trying to sensationalize the fight, and demean the HBC, but you are contradicting yourself on your own site. The drake fleet was losing, until the bombing run. After that all hostilities ceased and the HBC bomber fleet, and drake fleet waited for the ihub timer. 45 minutes between the fight ending and the rest of the HBC fleets flooding system to shoot the ihub. Local reached 600 2 minutes before the timer came out.

This above all else is why Ncdot respects them, even when we lose.. we lost to a better team .. not to the MORE team. We as the Dotbros are a little pleased that Gypsy isn't any longer fighting against us. With their Tengu and Bomber fleets they always managed to kill nearly all of our logis what makes the fight against SOLAR/Gypsy always a horrible outcome.

Your on the defensive, get tracking dreads into system before the fight, turn on the cynojammer, then PL cant fight with the Foxcats until the cynojammer is down because they wouldnt be able to bring in supers and driveby your dreads.

cfc is comprised of alliances evicted from the old ncdot a situation that wouldnt have happened if cfc felt a need to save them in the first place.it doesnt take a wonderfull diplo to take in alliances that have no other place to go and cant take or keep space on thier own. Funny because Raiden still owned Tenal when we entered the war and then Raiden backed out on us and left us to fight alone which in the process cost us 3 titans and 14-16 tech moons. Needless to say we felt no remorse about taking Vale from them after that.
in 4-07 the dreads made really no difference as the NAPOC were far away from undock. Checking dmg done numbers from -A- kb looks like one dread got couple lucky hits and 2 other dreads made like 4k damage total. Rest have zero damage.
What made difference was good bombing run hitting most NAPOCs to half armor combined with cynojammer so PL couldn't drop their carriers. Those NAPOCs arent really anything special without capital repping support and were dying easily like any other ship in 4-07. If our dictors were bit faster there would be a lot more dead NAPOCs. But they managed to run when they noticed they were getting raped.
In 49- with capital support the NAPOCs did lot better obviously. We had hard time getting past carrier reps and their supers were breaking locks with ecm. Also we didnt have bonuses moved early enough so we were bit slow and less tanky in beginning of the fight. Also some people thought its good idea to jump in trough gate mid fight and just died instantly. Asking can they jump in is just too hard for some people.
overall good even fight and I guess PL is happy they finally got their NAPOCs properly tested.

Regarding the ROL vs Test/Tribal fight, I think the main mistake of ROL's FC was to keep his hellcats fleet un-aligned on the same spot for a good while, which was just an invitation to get bombed. No less than 17 bombs hit my geddon! ROL has a serious problems with the lack of good FCs. Meanwhile a CSAA was blown up, a CTA was called for it, didn't see much reason in saving someone's shit with a ship not covered by SRP, esspecially knowing that shit wouldn't be used to defend our space, so I just gave up

You should get your facts straight…we also need a better battle report metric system. Eve-kill does not do a good job reflecting fights. If we had a 30 v 30 fight and then right after the fight bridged in 200 people and killed a POS the BR would show 230 v 30.
I was there, in a bomber. We would have wiped out the entire ROL BS fleet if we hadn't all dropped at once. We had 4 squads of 8-10 at the time. ROL fleet FC needs to learn how to align. Got 7 killmails, +1 more with torps later.
There was no blob. Drakes were getting the bad side of the battle until we bombed. No blob until the ihub timer came out.
