Here is a funny video which could happen to any pilot. A GoonSwarm Federation Black Ops fleets readies itself to unleash hell on an unsuspecting Cynabal fleet which just took the bait, then disaster happened:

    Remind everyone (especially highsecers) that when goons have fun they get screwed(Burn Jita, Ice miner interdiction, sponsoring and prolonging Hulkaggedon)

Its what they get for attacking 2 coalitions that were weakened and couldn't fight back or organized as they were at the time of there invasions.

    DRF – Weak in Civil war also pilots were in provi and Raiden was undecided on wether to help WN.
    SoCo – Very Decentralized type of governing and was'nt an offical coalition until the invasion.

    Now they fight the DotBros who were ready to fight and are only a fraction of the size of the other coalitions.

        Well basically if those regions and that tech was so precious for NCdot they wouldn't have broken the OTEC agreement now would they? It wasn't CFC that broke the agreement, it was NCdot.

        Yes. NC. saved the station, repaired armor+shield so Goons will have to redo both timers. It wasn't a cheap fight though, DotBros lost a bunch. (I don't have numbers, but I was in the fight and it felt like we lost a lot.)

            I'm not in cfc tool, I do/did highsec wardecs but that sucks ass now. I suppose though if I was going to join one of the power blocks they would be the one. I'd assume they'd get a lot more good fights than you guys. HBC looks too big, SoCo is falling apart and the dot bros are "elite" by gaming the system. Plus I'd rather shoot at tools in Tech II's than drakes, they would look better on my kill board. Cheers Bud.

            Smart bombs are a wonderful drug. The nature of facing missile ships is that to mitigate damage, beyond what even Defender missiles can do, you require a tactic called firewall. Which involves fitting out decently fast ships with high resistances(generally Heavy Interdictors, but I've seen it done with nano Prophecies, Damnations and Sacrileges before.) and having them orbit an anchor who flies in the same pattern or near to it as the enemies missile fire. Each volley of missiles, they light smart bombs and destroy maybe half the volley of missiles. It's likely the reason that the "DotBros" have been so successful against the forces of the CFC. This results in damage showing up on nearly every killmail, because the firewall squad generally makes a full orbit around the fleet at least once. This tactic confuses the shit out of killboard battle reports and the prevalence of it is such that I've seen battlereports on evekill where the entire side on the left is also on the right, and vice versa. Making things like Dognet necessary to confirm damage in terms of ships lost. And from ships lost, if you know average market value, you gain insight further into the isk war.

      You've never done BlackOps I'll assume..
      How do you consider hotdropping cheating? Its a quite valid game tactic..?
      Non-Covert Cloak capable ships are usually used as bait to lure in an enemy to attack the fleet. Then when they think they have the upper hand and are actively engaging and possibly tackled, the Cyno is lit and Recons and Bombers pour through.

      You clearly have no single clue about hot-dropping so I'll let you know what the expanders are for: Cargo Expanders are fit to a Black Ops Bridging ship to expand its cargohold as much as possible to hold as much Fuel for the fleet jumping through as it can. The BlackOps/Titan(used for normal hotdrops) opening the bridge 99/100 times aren't the ones that see combat. They only sit at a POS/Safespot and bridge the fleet through.
      Accidents happen though, be it through UI or user error clicking Jump, instead of Bridge. Which was the case here.

        Its a fail fit. Use covert haulers as fuel trucks. Expanding the cargo hold wont do a thing to the fuel bay.

          Actually if your doing nothing but bridging it works great. Clearly you need to do a little research as all ships will jump drives uses from from fuel bay then cargo hold. It doesn't have to be in the fuel bay. As someone who does black ops regular its a standard fit for bridges.

            It's still fail. I prefer my Widow/Prorator mix. 11Km3 worth of fuel. More than enough to bridge all day long.

    BTW i knew it was a bait, but i wanted to shoot it anyway, falcon kinda insta popped…we had good fun, like any other day we fight cfc or anyone else.
    Also The Collective isnt a alliance, and they were never dead just in wintersleep. Im trying to wake it up again in Not A Dot alliance.

      For that to happen you first need to step down Jarnobi. Unless you bought yourself some brains after the entire Collective shit down in Delve. But seeing how your corp managed to keep on alliance hopping untill you had to create your own, again. Probably because you:
      - had every alliance in the game by now
      - nobody wants your 200 man corp with only 10 active members
      - you probably still manage to piss off everybody and too dumb to realise it is you

      Its got Cargo Expanders to hold more fuel. Reps for after fights and stuff. It is not a combat fit, because it is not supposed to Jump in! Do you get why people are laughing, its not the fit.

          Titans dont need cargo hold expanders because they can hold more fuel than they will ever need for a drop all at once. Blops on the other hand go through fuel like an after burning fighter jet and have a fuel bay of a small family hatchback. But if you weren't a complete tard you'd already know this.

    Jesus what a fail fit, first off if your going to sit in the POS store the fuel there loser, cargo expanders useless on a battleship. Fit the thing for combat regardless if your going to jump or not, black ops jump range is fuck all, I always travel with a cov ops hauler full of fuel and the fleet of
    People I am going to bridge around. Have 2 medium cap injectors in the mids so when you land you hit both of them and are jump capable instantly.

    What should you expect from goons though, failtards of eve.

    After going through all the latest articles, I would suggest to rename this site to 'NCdotnews24' or 'FuckGoonNews24' . Don't get me wrong, I'm not against NC. More than that I think they do a really great job, bravely fighting much larger army (what I can't unfortunately say about -A-), bring fun to themselves as well as Goon's swarm, but …. why so one sided?

      What about reporting that solar vs ncdot fight in L-T instead of this? That was a really awesome battle with big losses on both sides.

    Not even scratched the NCdot wallets much in this war. Vince was like, look we got 6 Tril lets pvp till we lose all tech and all our isk and then worry about what to do after we lose. But we just keep winning and having such minimal losses that it's like any other month in terms of reimbursals. I think solar is probably doing more damage to us at this point, CFC is in full blown stockholme syndrom mode, "If we just thank them for the beatings it makes it all better".

    they are. I fight with NC aus TZ so we dont fight solar, but the reports I see the only real losses we see are from solar and then its when they escalate with supers. Not sure why we aren't countering but I am just a pleb.

    Its here on this site, but 90bill killed plus a titan (goons) and we lost 1.1bil NC

    Hull wise 120 ship, 20 carriers + titan (goons) vs 4 NC. ships

    later fight against solar NC killed 104 and lost 50 so solar is more of a threat than goons atm

    The next step that CFC will do: they will buy Solar to coordinate attacks with them. That should give CFC the feeling of being on the winning side.

    The reason you don't counter Solar Inc supers, from a drop of a hat, is because NC.dot spais are fully aware that there are a few more Solar Inc super dormant pilots, ready to login.

    Solar has alot of the big toys, and the alliance I am in, has 10-15 Supers, if Mactep called ballz to the walls.

    Black aces of SCDOT have 15+ nevermind the rest of Solar Inc block.

    Anyway Dotbros are still winning or only losing a fight marginal, and this happens once in a solar moon lolz.

    Don't forget the Solar v Dorbros is evenly matched with numbers, and not a blob fest.

    So fingers xxx this remains the status quo, but we get a few goo moons, or at least keep reinforcing them = no passive isk.
