The Verge of Collapse, the Alliance Tournament X winners are ripping the spoils of the first place by running a Darknesss endorsed lotto.

Cashing Out: Verge of Collapse holding an Etana Lotto.

Hello everyone,

Today I have the pleasure of bringing you this Etana Lottery on behalf of Verge of Collapse Alliance. This, at present, is a unique lottery and we do not know if we will be running one again. The lottery will be conducted in a “Winner takes all” fashion, with the winner recieving and Etana BPC or the option of an instant 50 billion isk payout. This your chance to get your hands on 1 of only 4 Etanas that are in circulation or loads and loads of ISK.

A little bit about the ship, this is the FOURTH Etana overall to leave the Verge of Collapse stable, the first one was auctioned off (and was resold since then) and the other two were sold to collectors. This is a very unique ship, its a logistic cruiser capable of Black Ops and Cover Ops operations, having the ability to use Black Op bridges and cloaking.

There will be 4,000 tickets available at 20m each and the lottery will continue to run until all tickets are sold. You can keep track of your tickets at:

vergeofcollapse.com/etana/

Please use IGB, same character that sent the ISK and click Accept on the Trust Request in order to view your list of tickets.

———LOTTERY INFO———

———INSTRUCTIONS———

At 20mil/ticket I wouldn’t mind spending a couple hundreds in a collectible ship. Also we’ll be interviewing the lucky winner on Eve News24.

I asked the guys if bulk tickets are available (200mil = 10 tickets) to which they said yes, they also mentioned that the tickets are assigned at random – so no need to spread throughout the duration of the lotto. The ingame browser / api thing takes about 30 mins to update, so half hour after you send the isk the tickets should appear on the IGB.

TL;DR

Send isk to Gnaw LF with the reason “etana” all lowercase

Twenty (20) Mil a ticket – 30 mins after that log into vergeofcollapse.com/etana via IGB to check your tickets

Because in uppercase letters ETANA is not the same thing.

infact, it is not. in "computer language", it's an entirely different cup of tea:

        01100101 01110100 01100001 01101110 01100001 (etana)
        01000101 01010100 01000001 01001110 01000001 (ETANA)

not sure whether the api and/or the lottery program distinguishes between them, tho

I am still pissed off as I suggested a black ops logistics for general game play 2 years ago now we will never see them in game being used for what would have been great new ways of spicing up the eve universe

Don't get pissed off, introducing new ships through the alliance tournament is CCPs way of seeing the response from the player base to the new ship type. If it seems we like it, they might introduce it later on. Could be a good thing..

bought 1 ticket. 20m is nothing and a 1/4000 chance of winning this is not bad. why not

I am also having a Lotto. You can win a Nyx for just 5mill per ticket. I will be sure to hand it to an alt in some random empire-based, ice-mining corp to make it look real.
