FTR I am sad and a bit choked up that a member of EvE has been murdered (and lets start using that word out of respect for what happened) . This man was murdered supporting a diplomatic mission that was attempting to fortify the very rights these people were fighting for.

I wouldn't have gone racial with it, but I guess you could draw an analogy. Some people worship the god of the Jews, who they've whatasized and turned into their own little tribal war god and claim that he's telling them to kill women who drive, or show their face in public, or talk back, etc. Some worship the also fictitious L33t PVP. Claiming that he tells them to fudge their killboards and fine new players who jump gates when told not to, warp out when told to but then told not to, etc.
