Actually…
Last night, a third of their fleet was approaching us.
Tonight in the first round, they actually managed to anchor properly, leaving a nice trail of wrecks showing where their anchor went. And in the second round, they were orbiting us.

It doesn't really seem to matter if they get the orbit/anchor crap right. If they can't post at least 3x our numbers, not only will they die en mass, but they won't even hold the field.

Most of the folks here seem to not understand. If you post all the effort Goons do. its pretty much the same thing. Blobbing out the sun vs some nobodies, conquering systems left and right. its the same thing. We all know this and what goons are capable of doing with the vast numbers they have… But….. when u have an outnumbered group, going agaisnt the odds. it makes for a better story. its not biased, the story didnt say NC. were winning. Stories like this plaster "Were smaller than you, but we'll give u a bloody nose" all over the page. id rather read this than "goons blobbed X system, then moved to system Y next door and Blobbed that one too. itll be the same shit over and over.

I don't care how awesome they say the leadership is. Yeah, it must be hard to keep a bunch of dumb noobs and older more experienced players all together, kudos. But it's still 5 against 1. And it's pretty ridiculous when forming a fleet you say "alright guys, we got 2x their number, now lets just see if we can form up 300 more and then we'll attack". But I'm sure it makes them feel like their "winning", as charlie sheen would put it
