I've been fighting Solar in Geminate for months now, and we've always had great respect for Solar. Those guys know how to fight.
While entertaining, it's even more funny EN24 keeps trying to front the idea that dotbros are winning. Do they win fights? Yep. Is it impressive? Yep. Are they winning the war? Nope.
EN24 Article every time they win a battle. Goons take 16 systems, 2 stations, and 2 more systems with lost sov, and not a single article.
Even though I'll be accused of it, I am not affiliated with the Goons in any way. Anyone who clicks through the EN articles regarding this war, then looks at the dotlan map of Tribute can see the obvious ridiculous bias of this "News" site. It's pretty lame.

Yes you're taking space but its taken you how many weeks to take a handful of systems and 2 stations from people you outnumber a minimum of 2:1 in your weak TZ and as much as 3or 4: 1 in your prime week end time zones? Yeah go ahead and brag that a few thousand people made you 50k take a system or 2 at a time for weeks when you said you were just gonna take trib and get it over with. So Yeah you are winning the sov war, but its cost you have many trillions in ships and you have out numbered them in every fight by 2:1 or better? Not really grounds to talk like you're good. Yeah theres a lot of you… and thats the only reason you have won anything. Without your blob your shit would have long since been pushed all the way in.
You know, ncdot is really good at fleet fights. I mean, seriously, probably the best alliance in the game at those big battles right now. One to one they'd probably beat most alliances.
But,
The isk war doesn't matter when the cfc is a 50k coalition with dozens of tech moons. That's the whole point of the cfc. They use numbers and diplomacy to overcome the lack of really good FC's and hardcore pvp pilots.
Most cfc players don't care at all about isk efficiency and k/d ratios. For them, they see tribute collapsing, ncdot fleets being cut down to 150 or less and moons being taken. That counts as winning for them. They don't see it the same way as ncdot players do – most of them are casual players and have very little of themselves invested into Eve Online.
And there you have it, the cultural difference said in one sentence. The line CFC member has very little invested in the game, while for most Dot bros they play the game cause they love it and have much invested. Which imo is why NC Dot/BL and the rest of the peeps fighting the CFC, are the best thing for the game. While the CFC will ultimately damage the game imo. I leave TEST out of this cause I have a feeling they see the same thing, hence there attempt at there own coalition.

The goons will win in Tribute. It would take a miracle for Dotbros to beat you. The numbers are just too many.
Yet there are many ways to measure victory/loss. You will get Tribute but your also giving away comedy K/D ratio KBs. If they can't outright overcome your blob then they're definately going the right way about fighting you. Just hope that if/when Tribute falls they keep hammering you from NPC

Last night, a third of their fleet was approaching us.
Tonight in the first round, they actually managed to anchor properly, leaving a nice trail of wrecks showing where their anchor went. And in the second round, they were orbiting us.
It doesn't really seem to matter if they get the orbit/anchor crap right. If they can't post at least 3x our numbers, not only will they die en mass, but they won't even hold the field.
plus f1 was so last week we upgraded, we moved weapons to f2 slot now and regarding anchoring i guess all fleets should now jump into system and warp off 250 diff spots..seems logical. But what do we know weve been on the winning side of every war with Riverinis alliances…Yes i admit no one would want to hear about 2 fleets taking down ihubs ect but try to use some journalistic neutrality, and deleting peoples posts cause it might have some truth to it is pathetic

Cfc as is fact have to resort to bail out methods when they can in fleet although having the massive odds. Dropping slow vats dreads etc to bail them out. I dont call blobbing the shit out of your enemies 3/4:1 much of an achievement. The reason that Dotbros get more favourable reviews, or indeed anyone that goons are fighting, is that winning against those odds is awesome.
I've fought both for and against the DRF and Goons and I see little difference between the DRF's super blob and the goons sub blob. Its a fucking miracle, or more likely a testement to how shitty goons are, that Tribute hasn't completely fallen yet.
They have done nothing to earn respect. That is on par with saying you have to respect 5 guys jumping 1.

Actually the point is that they died when they faced a force much greater and only after they killed a good number of the enemy forces and gave the rest of the Greek cities a few more days to organise and finally face the Persian threat and defeat them.

Ofc in a game such as EvE there is no need for that. Sooner or late cfc, Deko or what ever, will break down and new power blocks will replace them.

For all those people crying how Goons really are winning: Yes you are winning the sov war, but to the rest of Eve it is hilarious that it has taken you this long to take the systems you have and that you have lost so many fights when you outnumber your enemy by 2-5:1. A majority of people figured Tribute would fall in under 3 weeks and yet here we are a month later and you still are 1/3 of the way through Tribute and that is not including Vale. While this video isn't true it is hilarious. We don't expect to hold Tribute or anywhere tbh we just want to kill as many of you as we can while doing it. We also don't care to read everyday that "so and so system fell as goons had too many people for Dotbro's to engage so we shot structures." Any idiot with half a brain could look at the influence map and see the yellow slowly expanding through Tribute. A fight where goons lose massively while outnumbering their opponent however is interesting to read.

A little math question for you: 27 station Timers + 53 Ihubs + 200+ POSs = How much time it will take Tribute. And that is if nothing is defended. Conservatively that is about two months worth of SOV grinding. BTW if it were not for the fights half of the CFC players would leave out of boredom.

There is s HUGE difference between the current fighting in Tribute and the last three CFC campaigns. First off DotBors are MUCH better at PvP than those in Delve, Tenal, and Branch. Second they show up to fight and don't run away. And finally, they are contesting just about every timer. So this is not war like the CFC has been accustomed to and yes it will take more than a few weeks to grind through all the station timers Tribute has a large number of them.

I don't think that Hitler never implied you couldn't take Tribute. He was just frustrated that you promised it much faster than you could deliver.
Anyone who thinks that Tribute+Vale would only take 3 weeks, does not understand SOV mechanics. If the station timer has 2 or 3 days on it, there is nothing we can do to speed up that process. Anyone who knows anything about SOV mechanics knows that you have to SBU, then hit IHub and Station. The I-Hub ans Station will each have multiple timers that could last for days. Even with ZERO resistance, it would still take some time to grind through all the structures in Tribute. There is like 30-40 stations in tribute. Each station system will take multiple days to conquer… Do the math..
