100 pilots is a little optimistic too, Romanian Legion is tiny now, and C0ven and SE don't really have a significant pilot count outside of EUTZ, you're talking 50 guys during USTZ when you'd need them.

And like I said you have to assume you will lose the fleet with that many supers etc waiting anyways, you are trying to go basically Ship for ship and the best ships to beat them with are Alpha Ships, Period 211k EHP is nothing to 25 Maels at optimal Range which is a Huge buffer BTW, Yes its safer with 50 and they could regroup on the fly.

Point is 250k EHP and all the Logi in the world wont help a volley of 50 Maels. And they can eat alot of DMG Also and Hell they can hit out to 120 while still doubling the Napocs ALpha.

Like Isaid it would be alot better fleets if they used Maels and alot cheaper and really would hurt PL in the Wallet. Just 1 fight where they kill you 2 ships to 1 you still win the ISK war by 1-200 mil a pop, Sorry but PL wouldnt keep that up for long, and there cap fleet? Let them come in and have all 100-200 Maels Insta Pop Carriers and Dreads that often times once a battle goes this one sided and one side will not use caps become faction fit.

I remember when the NC lost all those titans to us and it really scared them to the point where they didnt use Caps anymore [AKA the beginning of the End] When that happend a ton of us started fitting faction fit Carriers because we knew they would hotdrop us.

Maels that do Alpha would do the job 5x better than Tengu`s which are DPS machines trying to beat better DPS machines. 100mn AB was cool when you couldnt be tracked we used them for along time. But if you are tracked your 600 max DPS simply cant hang with a BS`s 750-850 DPS with guns alone not to mention the massive advantage of EC Drones and Normal Drones. A Set of Ec300`s an keep a Orbiting Tengu Jammed 15% taking there DPS even down further, and when you get 100 Napocs all with ECM Drones its a sight to see they can cripple all enemy logi etc.

So how do you fight? Alpha, period, and its at 40% the Tengu`s cost and 20% after insurance, al while making the enemy suffer heavy losses in the first seconds, some of these fights I see have been only 4 Napoc losses, Hell that would be done in 30 Secs in my worst case scenario, and at best case in the first 20 Secs and at 40 Secs 8 Dead Not to mention 1 group would kill there entire logi chain.

Imagine a group of 25 Maels with groups of 1400`s firing at your logi, They could at 80km away kill 2 Logi`s every 17 ish Secs. That would severely hurt PL as there Logi pilots are next to the best.

Its a better solution period. Let the Tengu be the king at what it is, Ahac/Sniper killer with its Extra 15-20km than a Drake and its missile speed, and its 1/3rd more tank to survive for Reps. Hell hey are even great vs Drake fleets using there 1200 m/s speed to kill missile DMG but vs BS`s they were great fighting ships that couldnt track them…These can, and they out DPS and out tank them, so bypass there Tank by instapopping them and kill there DPS by insta popping them. And if you welp a fleet of Maels good lord its better than welping Gu`s
