		<description><![CDATA[i would pay for a skinning right of my mission ship thats for sure 
my pvp ship naa since i plan on losing it. (atleast if the cost is high) 
but i would pay ALOT for a pink itty V and see how many trips with empty containers i can make between Jita --&gt; Rens  
 
honestly with V3 every model slapping on decals and painting the ship should be a breeze and not take many man hours. and besides doing that is a 2-3man job for an expansion 
 
to do the POS right they need to have the structure already done.  
sure its a job to get every module of the new modular pos system to fit but last time i heard anything aobut it POS rewamp was for Winter 2013 to be done. so i don&#039;t see how its stopping art department from skinning my ships?  sorry i don&#039;t... because art can&#039;t start until they have done some decisions on how it should work.

Personally, I wouldn&#039;t think that it would take all that much time to make some palette shifted skins as an intro to ship skinning. Of course, i&#039;m not an artist, familiar with photoshop, maya, or anything involving graphic design so maybe it&#039;s not easy. 
 
I just get the feeling that CCP wasn&#039;t asking &quot;should we do some minor ship skin work to test the waters,&quot; rather than &quot;do you want us to dive into this &#039;whole hog&#039; rather than work on something else.&quot; I don&#039;t think it would be a good use of art team resources to put EVERYONE on ship skins, but I can see the value in putting one guy on it who really knows his shit, and then once every couple weeks he can show off his creations for approval. Then rather than sit on the assets, they could swap them in for the normal ship skins on singularity to see how the greater EVE community feels. 
 
If they are well received, have that one guy do more, and get a couple programmers to work on the underpinnings to get them in as a nex shop buy. 
 
Personally, I&#039;d have that one guy stick to battleships for the moment. Definitely do the popular fleet comp ships like the Abaddon, Maelstrom and Rokh. ]]></description>
