Yesterday, we published an insight on TEST Alliance finances, Montolio was quick to write a response. -A- FC Perseus Kallistratos took such response, dissected it and shared it with us.

Montolio is pretty good at propaganda… but not as good as He thinks. He recently wrote this response to the EVE News 24 article concerning his alliance’s financial situation:
I’m not going to link the article because I’d prefer they not get advertising ISK to funnel into gold watches for -A- leadership, but I would like to address the claims.
Yeah because -A- leadership has serious stakes in EVENEWS24. We actually bought all our shares of this publically traded company when they were trashing us during the DRF war.
For starters, the article insinuates that Goonswarm Federation has loaned TEST ISK. This is false, we’ve had a line of credit with them but it’s been untouched. We have a few notable loans from individuals / organizations.

Our financial difficulties come from two main sources right now: 1) Expansion into new space (high capital investment and time costs) 2) Technetium speculation and CCP patches. The first is simply something that will go away with time, we’ve instituted an alliance wide 5% ratting tax for two months to help smooth out the costs associated with that. The second is something out of our control, technetium prices have bounced back up since the patch has gone live but the few weeks of wild speculation damaged revenues. We are working some alternative income sources to alleviate any technetium dependency issues our alliance has, my next State of the Alliance will cover that in more detail.
I think they would try renting out that new found space, except that no one in their right mind would rent right next door to -A- and get dumped on constantly.
Darkos Nightmare, our main money wizard has been working on making the accounting spreadsheet more informative and has started tracking historical data and charting that as well. We don’t have the historical data publicly accessible yet, but it will be.
The article is an attempt to poke at our financial data much like we’ve done with OWN Alliance in the past, the exception here is that we are a transparent organization and we welcome honest scrutiny.

I don’t know who Danny Centauri is – his industrial knowledge may be sound but I question his experience with the scale of large organizations and reading investigative abilities. He doesn’t mention in his article that our sheet doesn’t cover capital expenditures, its too hard to account for those, it only covers recurring expenses and most of it is estimation. We are actually doing reactions like he suggests, but they take time and effort to make profitable. In ~real spaceship life~ things don’t work like spreadsheets. Logistics is messy at this scale.
Our community is strong, donations pour in when we need them. We won’t be flattened by ISK woes like some alliances. I’ve been investigating Against All Authorities finances in the meantime, an alliance with which the EN24 owner Riverini sympathizes heavily.
Yeah Riverini seems to sympathize with us constantly. Man, I should pull up some of the old articles from as recently as 6 months ago. Montolio should know better than to fling around accusations like that. But then I consider his audience and figure they will buy it. Maybe he should even sponsor an EVENEWS24 boycott. It can be his “burn Jita” campaign. lol
Against All Authorities has used the ‘we are poor because no technetium’ line for ages, but this is not the case. Against All Authorities runs a vast renter network filled with botters.
Last time I checked the botters were most numerious in Deklein. But sure, play the botting card. I’ve used it, DRF used it, CFC uses it, everyone does. A bit of a pubby play for someone as “in” as Montolio but its ok, I am no longer surprised by his bullshit. I choose to grab some popcorn and enjoy the show these days.
Renters with -A- have to hand over a phone number when you sign up, this is so that they can call and harass you if you miss a rental payment.
Man that sounds almost realistic! We don’t need phone numbers though… if someone doesn’t pay they just get kicked. Besides, can you imagine the long distance phone charges?
They don’t reimburse subcapitals at 100%, but they reimburse (or claim to) supercapitals < 2 weeks.
And you can’t even reimburse 2/3 of your fleets anymore. Don’t throw stones in a glass house bud. Also-supers are reimbursed, fits are reimbursed and bitch, we don’t even have tech.

Rumors are abound about -A- paying FCs ~real life~ money in order to stick with them – I have no proof of this last claim, but the fact that the rumor exists just points to the corrupt culture and elitism going on with Against All Authorities.

I sure wish I made money for FCing. Then I wouldn’t have to work and could go to school full time for my degrees. But alas, the only gift I get from FCing is posts like this, and the occasional teary eyed jabber ping from TEST leadership.
You should also not call anyone else elitist when you are in bed with PL. But I suppose it doesn’t matter, TEST and the CFC in general call anyone who isn’t in their band of blues elitist. It creates a nice persona that helps build the “you aren’t us” mentality.
TEST doesn’t need to pay people to work with us, we don’t need to fine people to fight for our cause, we have fun.
Well with no recruitment standards of course you don’t need to pay anyone. With 75% of your organization ratting away they pay for themselves

omg, do you really believe this? AAA doesn't give a shit about their renters to the point where they let ROL come in and prey on them (ROL will not Blue renters). And sure as hell AAA will never stand and fight to protect their renters should Goons/TEST/PL ever make a try at Catch. They will just withdraw to Stain and fight from there (as they have stated publicly many times).
Neither of which can happen because by Christmas TEST will be pushed back out of fountain, as GSF is mired in defeat in the north across the 3 major TZ's. PL is not going to baby sit them forever, especially if their Norther Interest come under threat.
GSF is not going to be able to support TEST, and TEST can not support GSF. Both HBC and GSF are currently separated from one another. The BFF Blob is unable to meet up and at the same time contain -A- or DOT Bros.
With rumors of Solar coming north to fight GSF with DOT Bros in exchange for Geminate (rumors which the star map supports, and the local Solar numbers climbing). SOLAR just got 2 systems off NC. with no combat.
The numbers in the north are going to become even closer, and we have seen that GSF fails hard in close sized fleet combat.
The loss of 2 titans, the loss of tech moons, the onlining of SBU's in GSF territory, and the lack of gains from the 20 constantly reinforced Tech moons are killing GSF morale.
The war is going to be long and bloody, but TEST and GSF are not able to support each other, as both are welping to much of their own stuff.
PL will come north at some point, but I doubt they will be siding with GSF.,
(GSF = CFC, and I refuse to call them that. CFC is a propaganda term, it is GSF, the only reason they are "allies" and not 1 massive Alliance is because GSF doesn't want to fail at paying bills again.)

i think, that either solar or IRC will be the deciding factor, if IRC scales up and comes in proper number and proper ships as they are able to.
Loads of non CFC blocs have temp blues for specific ops/purposes. Its perfectly plausable that NC. +friends will blue with Solar on anti goon specific ops but reset when not working together.

As far as I have seen you can kill a Testie over 9,000 times, and they will keep coming back, just for the hell of it. Do the same to an AAA member, they will either stay away, bring friends, or get kicked for messing up their kill/death stats.
Goons may have a lot of botters. But i can tell you from my limited travels in AAA territory, there are few people that are not bots. Not saying it makes a difference, its not AAA's problem if their renters are bots. But then again they charge more for renting than most other groups do, and they have a nice tax on their mandatory-refining stations. Bots are even more common in such an area, because there is an entire region between them and any neut or red, in most directions.
I've seen threads showing that a Class 7 system, would run 8-12 billion isk per month for a renter. That is more than a Tech moon makes!
Also, if anyone actually thinks you can disrupt an alliance or groups ratting you are stupid, they can just safe up and only a afk-cloaker makes a difference.
For POS Fuel and Minerals, since Test is largely based upon their corp Dreddit, could set up an audit log system, where you could mine whatever you wanted, or do PI for whatever you wanted, and Dreddit would pay you based on a set of prices, say ~90% of jita sell. Sure it would be laggy and messy if you used a Spreadsheet, you can make a program to catalog it for you, and make payments at the end of each month or so.
Also this article made me laugh, because i literally lost all respect i had for him or AAA when they were fighting White Noise and the remnants of the DRF. Losing does things to people.
Also, is there any pre-exisiting tool that allows you to take a kill board and filter out any kills on say, blue alliances or your own, and generate a total ISK destroyed and ISK lost for any given month?

In order to compare you first must understand what SoCo is, and the CFC/HBC coalitions really are.

1) A monthly P/L isnt a capital budget. All the expenditures that lead to Test being 25b in the hole are regular monthly expenditures, including running ship replacement as a 'regular expense'.

Seriously, you read public finance records about TEST and wrote not one, but two articles about how well you could financially manage the alliance. Why? It really makes no sense to me at all. Tech is getting nerfed – it will lose value – hence cash flow will suffer
It costs ISK to hold Sov – so when we take three regions it's going to hurt financially
War is not cheap – especially in a alliance that encourages welping fleets with a liberal reimbursement policy.

I was in AAA. The botters are in ROL mainly and AAA Citizens. AAA is the bot free facade for some naivy English-speaking players, who do not understand, how the alliance functions. All the inactive Russian Corps in AAA hold the most power, almost all stations and systems, which they rent to the botters. English speaking corps only get stations/systems, once they agree to fill them with botters. I talked with many CEOs in AAA, even the Non-Russian CEO know, that rent money from botters is by far their biggest income source. I heard them first hand argueing, this would only happen to even up the Tech imbalance. But I was in South long before Tech became No 1. South, alliances with Russians and Chinese in it, was always way more bot infested than any other alliance region. so this are just poor excuses from a bunch of cheaters. I heard many other lines, which Montalio calls rumors first hand from Russian and English CEOs/FCs in AAA. This guys have no fear to tell their story. Makalu gets payed with RL money. It is basically like a mobster system. The main FC is the god father. They accept no other god father than Makalu or any other Russian/bot friendly CEO. All money goes to the corp of the Main FC and Diplo, which is RAT and Lamb Federation. They show nothing, no balance sheet, of course, because they have to hide something. Not just were the money comes from mainly, also who is taking what. The reimbursement story is also true. You get a Tengu + some ISK for Subsystem. If you lose a Loki, you only get a Loki. They want you to fit FN Webs and shiny stuff, ask for donations, but you can imagine in such a system like AAA, there is never ever a donation reaching any Loki pilot, who lost one. So he basically just gets a Loki and that's it.

You can only climb up in the ladder in AAA, if you rent your systems to bots and agree to the omerta. If you do not do that, you will never get anything in AAA and you'll be just a meatshield, which they throw in battle after battle until you are burned out. Meanwhile the Russian Corps, who are every month at the ned of the pvp kill list of AAA Corps run their bots silently, collect the ISK – and certainly not share all with the guys, who pvp for them.

Half of what you typed is useful the other half is incorrect and speculative at best. I would argue that many line members of test are actually interested in the enigma that is -A-. They want to knw how there alliance works and the general structure.
You have informed on that front, however the rest of your post is BS, yes shadoo is the head FC of the honey badger coalition, but why wouldn't he be. every alliance that makes up the HBC has fc'd and fc's at the strategic level TEST makes up the bulk of that usually depending on the time zone.

Yup, I know for a fact that if you make the top 5 killers for the month on eve-kill, you get a prize. Last one I got was a fully fitted Nightmare…which i immediately sold because, lets face it, we're tech poor

Not saying that it's WRONG, of course, it's what you're supposed to do when your part of a facade coalition designed to make it appear that you're not still a part of the DekCo – HOWEVER, it IS wrong to say that TEST can stand on its own.
