On August 15th we featured a low sec engagement between Lost Obsession and Noir. Mercenary Group. in Shajarleg (Domain). The next day we were contacted by Agerol who mentioned besides “setting up the whole thing” to have further plans to keep “spanking” Noir.

Today he sent us the following video, with some really nice commentary in it for that “Clarion Call” feeling.

An old alliance mate, Agerol, borrowed money from Noir member Kingblade. After many months of inactivity on Agerols part (due to RL), Noir CEO Alekseyev Karrde convinced one of Agerol’s friends inside of Age’s new corp to steal assets to cover the cost.

Those assets did not belong to Agerol, and as such, 3rd parties were victimized by the thievery. When told of the situation, Aleks said that it was no longer his problem and that Agerol was not going to get anything back. Aleks went even further to say that Agerol now owes his corpmates, as it is their fault for being in the same corp as him.

Aleks made it very clear that he had zero intention of every repaying the isk cost of BPO’s and assets stolen.

So Agerol went through his list of contacts to see if anyone could do anything about it. He ended up contacting me (Tridgit) and another friend Fogg. The plan came to mind quickly for me, and with Foggs commitment of a few battleships, Phase one began.

After a week of setting up and scouting, Northern Strike battleships supported by Agerol and Theelopeone in carriers re-enforced 3 Noir. POS’s in shajarleg. I had told them to kick off the attack at late north american timezone, for two reasons.

I wanted the attack to bring the POS’s out at a good time on sunday, to maximize the chances of a Noir defense fleet. Secondly, waiting till just after most Noir pilots log off reduced the chances of phase one going bust.

The stront timers were correctly guessed, the POS’s came out of re-enforced precisely when we wanted them to.

Noir formed up under aleks’s leadership to defend against ‘that idiot agerol and his hisec friends’. The rest… is in the video.

*Eve related clarification: Agerol is not affiliated with Lost Obsession in any official capacity. Northern Strike are also not affiliated with Lost Obsession in any official capacity.

Music: I think the glitch mob create some fantastic tracks, so I used Animus Vox | Beyond Monday | Fortune Days in the video. Theres two other songs, one is the intro and the other is the dubstep remix of a glitch mob song.

      This is nonsense. Everyone wants to have fun and if one loses or wins is not so important, because it is often a matter of numbers, time zones and just luck. You then do not taunt your opponents for not breaking off the fight. Instead, you are being thankful for bringing it. What Lost Obsession does is a carebear's approach to fleet fights. You can hear them say how they are afraid of creating attention with their supers, and yet have they made a video of it so we can all watch it… It is not calculative, it is careful at best and cowardly at worst. Even the way they announce their targets, "melt XYZ's face", in a blank, cold voice shows how little they enjoy their fight. The entire video is a demonstration of a complete lack of fun. You want them to lead you? I'd rather shove a red-hot iron up my butt!

        Think you've been in too many fleets with bad FCs mate, FCs don't have to be forever screaming at you as if everything's vitally important. After all you're talking about the same people that blapped the PL titan in Losec, then instead of screaming like 13 year old girls about it, listened and killed the next target.

        Fleet comms means shut the hell up, when the fleets over however that's when comms get loud. If you've never had that, well I'm glad I have a group of people fighting with me that don't freak out at every little cap kill. Was only 8 or 9 Carriers after all.

            It is ok not wanting to hide supers. It was one of several controversies that stood out. Best is not to comment on what is going on but to show the kills. Everything else you try the video to be makes you look like a retard.

          Fact is most EVE players love fights and love winning, but do not go further than this. It ends at destroying space ships. I then laugh when I see losers spin their battle reports to make it look like a victory and while the facts speak against it, because it is funny. And I love winners who show respect and give curtsey to their opponents like a good sportsman, because it is just a game. However, I see none of this in OL's video and it comes across as an attempt to publicly humiliated other players. If anything then it makes me sad.

      Was around 60 Vs 60, but if you're only gonna look at the BR on Eve-kill when that never shows all the ships on field, then fair enough.

      Eve Kill shows 2 domis, yet video overview has Noir. with at lease 8 on field, as an example. However do not let facts like this deflect you from spouting nonsense. FYI there caps were dying anyway, supers came in merely to speed up the fight. Maybe you like waiting to be counter dropped by enough people to whip away your fleet. We like to get the job done, collect the loot and move on to the next fight with somewhat of a fighting chance. Waiting around for someone to melt us because we're too dumb to get in, clean up and get out is not our style.

      Actually EoN never asked if they could bring supers onto the field, Alek requested they bring them, but the call was cancelled, we didnt have enough and we had already lost too much to make it wothwhile.

      You are seeing right. They did kill a few caps and the small tower, but the video itself is one of the most retarded victory videos made by any winner. Some moron thought that it is going to look good to make a documentary and to capture all sides of the fight, to mix in their coms, the enemies coms and some commentary. All that is missing are the Chinese subtitles. And, yes, they left out most kills.

          Actually it was not his fault. Looking back it was actually my fault that the typhoon died. (I was the initial triage for teamFATE in the fight)

          Although, again looking back, it's a good thing he died. It kept them fighting longer than they would have if they hadn't been able to break anything right from the get go. (imo ofc)

      Fate only had 3 Carriers on the field all of which were Triage, I think you mean Noir. Who had a mix of pantheon and triage carriers and were not breaking any targets.

      Giving them props for not pos'ing up and remaining to fight, that's one view. However a good Fc would have at around carrier loss two, figured out shit had hit the fan and moved to pull out. That of course is another view. If I recall, they cyno'ed in two Caldari Carriers, and a Gal one to join the grave after the second carrier loss.
