Ah yes Divide and Conquer, a strategy that has worked in Real life is being used in EVE, and now they realize it.

The question becomes is if they can save themselves or is it too late?

If PL leaves TEST, TEST is dead. They have absolutely no hope for holding their sov. -A- and friends would steamroll Querious, Period Basis, Delve, and maybe even Fountain. PL will not leave TEST. They cannot. If they leave, those regions will be lost. The north would be bolstered by TEST and PL. The real threat to CFC would be if -A- and friends kept pushing north. That would totally BONE the CFC. That would leave CFC to have to fight a war on all fronts. That is something that would break the CFC. You're correct that one alliance holds all the cards, but it is not PL; it is SOLAR. If or when SOLAR deploy is when you will see a major shift on the war fronts.

If (when?) moon mining changes and the isk copy machine towers get torn down the face of Eve really will change. Sure, there'll still be money in it but it won't be automated. Those who're used to the 'auto-deposit isk into my wallet' might actually have to watch their pennies for once. Given the number of people they' have face-rolled, I wonder how many friends there'll be once the money runs out?

you have to assume that all information is public the moment you put it on the forums. IRC has many spies so the best they can do is either release the info for public consumption, hold the information within their high command (if that's not already compromised) or deliver miss information to throw off enemies.

agreed, that forum post from Tessa is a bit old now. I agree the war has shifted from a fail attempt to grind some sov (if that was ever the idea) to a full on tech war of attrition.

That's also what's going to happen. After a while CFC will stop fighting DOTbros roaming gangs because they get raped every time. That's when dotbros start reinforcing stuff to force fights. Nothing grabs someone's intentions like reinforcing a CSAA. Now the CFC has to move their juggernaut from whichever part of eve they're currently blobbing someone to come and defend their stuff. CFC blobs up waiting to defend their assets with 1000 maelstroms and dotbros can't fight that so they stand down. Rinse – repeat – ad infinitum.

I can't wait for CFC to install new pets in Tribute. The north will be just like in the old days. It's gonna be a killmail generator.
