In the aftermath of a disastrous battle in Kourmonen in which the Amarr militia suffered a 2:1 trashing from the Minmatar side, we received the following tip from a fweddit member:
So the time we knew would all come, has come. Fweddit has imploded upon itself. Apparently months of hidden tension has been building between the leadership of this rag-tag corporation, and it has finally reached critical mass. Apparently when not playing other video games, the Fweddit leadership logs in just long enough to overcharge their corp members for ships that are “free” on contract. The corporation has been bleeding members for weeks now, people losing interest in dealing with the abusive, over the top antics of the diplomancer, Xlove, war deccing other members of the Amarr militia, when totally unjustified.
In a desperate attempt to retain members, and continue padding his wallet with ISK, the new Corp CEO, one Rina Kondur, is now pulling out to move the corp to support IRC in Cobalt Reach. Apparently backroom deals were reached, and Fweddit was asked to come in to pad the US TZ of IRC and teach the struggling IRC more modern PVP tactics. This plan wasn’t supposed to go into effect for a few weeks, however; with the substantial loss of their cap fleet today in Kourmonen (which was being flown by Lost Obsession), remaining members and leadership together decided today they had to cut their losses and make the move to IRC space ASAP. Evacuations are currently underway as Fweddit is fleeing the Amarr engagement zone.
Rina posted an alliance mail outlining the new austerity measures:
Changes for J4LP

It’s a grave day for J4LP. Unable to stand up to the Minmatar, we’ve been forced to withdraw from the area. Their numbers and PvP skills have driven us away.Fortuneatly IRC has offered us a spot in their new forming coalition to help pad their killboard. We’ll be heading for Cobalt Edge soon, so consolidate your assests and get ready for move ops. More information can be found on the forums.
Bob From Marketing (one of Eve’s best named chars) outlined some of fweddit’s first world problems:
After fighting against a wall of LP, then against a wall of SFI’s and Elite PVP Minimatar we have decided to leave Amarr faction warfare. The entire corp is moving on account of two of our supercapital ships wanting to get more use and the general thinking that we would make the most amazing demoralising local shitting while fielding the most amazing tackle fleet available. I have proposed we use our Elite PVP skills to form a mercenary corp dedicated purely to fast tackle and small bait, while providing killboard padding for IRC (which doesn’t stand for Internet Relay Chat, much to my dismay)
Finally, there is the campy picture which has been making rounds in factional warfare blogs:
What ever comes out of this is hard to predict, Intrepid Crossing seems to come as a blessing to Fweddit, on the other hand null-sec is a different beast than militia space, with a different set of realities and shortcomings. Even so, this makes you wonder why Fweddit didn’t simply headed into TEST (there are a lot of alts there), which tempts me to file this one under “prolly a troll”
Another Twist: Heading North
We had hinted about the close relationship between TEST and Fweddit, both communities born out of reddit, the latter started simply as an alliance in which TEST members were to put a low SP alt for some trasher fun. From this humble beginnings Fweddit evolved into a decent Factional Warfare alliance.
The twist here comes from no where else than the Northern Conflict between GoonSwarm Federation and The DOT Brothers.
According to our informant, FWeddit will deploy into Cobalt Edge. They’ll shift their main factional warfare goals towards conquering Gallente space. While at the same time helping the Deklein Coalition with numbers against IRC who has been giving NCDOT and Black Legion. a hand in the Northern Conflict.
This also serves as a perfect way for TEST to give a proper boost to GoonSwarm Federation without compromising their so called “independence“.
