My friend Agerol got into a dispute with NOIR over some debt. While I don’t know who was right and who was wrong, Agerol, an old corpie, asked for my help. He found some low sec moon mining POS’s of theirs, and a plan was quickly hatched between several corps and alliances to attack NOIR.
My alliance, Northern Strike, agreed to wardec NOIR and reinforce their lowsec towers in order to provoke a fight, with the ultimate goal being to bait out a NOIR. cap fleet, so our friends in Lost Obession could come in and drop the hammer.
The plan worked flawlessly, NOIR. didn’t think anything of our high sec wardec alliance, and rushed to defend their assets from what they probably deemed an inferior opponent. Once the first tower came out of reinforced, a mixed Northern Strike and Orphan of Eve Battleship fleet with 3 carriers engaged the tower. This started a bloody game of hotdrop escalation, with the final result being total defeat for NOIR and her allies.

We expected a better show from Noir because of their reputation, but since their reputation is built on ganking highsec carebears and have shit leadership, they couldn't even make sense of mechanics or even broadcast for reps properly.

Regardless of Supers or no Supers, NOIR. is simply over rated and are not particularly good at anything in this game. They are one of the big "high sec mercenary groups" and we all know how incredible "high sec mercenary" PVP is.

I flew with NOIR as a guest on a wormhole op about a year ago, and they were actually a pretty cool bunch of dudes. Their leader, Alex Karrde, is an extremely high-strung, arrogant, "for the love of god can i just mute him please" kind of guy. Those qualities helped him make NOIR what it is today, and he's responsible in large part for their successes, but it also holds them back imho.

This was a good fight, pretty even in pure numbers. We however never lost a ship once we bridged onto the field. Not sure if Noir. are seeking payback on us, be given the ease in which their caps die, I welcome them too enter Kamela with open arms and 1400s.

Looked like a decent fight until the supercaps brought it to an abrupt end.
It was a good fight indeed, we didn't prepare enough as we're not used to engage "pimp my ship" fleets in null. We were looking for an easy win and got beat up like a 10year old, but honestly, we're all glad that fight happened ! ISKs come and go, but fights like this keeps your adrenaline high. ( only for the first 5 minutes when we hadn't realized yet we had no chance !
