Told from the perspective of a Black Legion. grunt, here is a battle report that shows that the war is heating up with both sides playing a bit of offense, DOTBROS formed up to go and get a good fight with Goons over a moon that was reinforced in Venal. At 0200 fleets were formed, NCdot and Nulli in AHACS and Black Legion in Tornadoes. Goons got into their usual AlphaFleet, Bombers, and Drakes.
ROUND 1: Black Legion was the first into system and set up numerous cloaky probers/warp-ins around the tower (r64 or tech) in max preparation for the fight. Goons soon cynoed in at a pounce above the tower with Alpha/Drake/Carrier fleets. The B.Legion Tornadoes harassed them a bit, catching stragglers and insta-popping them, but were soon forced off due to the Goon bomber wing. This happened for a few minutes, with the Tornadoes almost 2-shotting a Nidhoggur and some Chimeras getting volleyed into armor.
Then NCdot/Nulli/IRC arrived and TiDi spiked as the AHAC contingent arrived at the POS. The AHACS started to brawl it out with the Maelstroms and Drakes while the Tornadoes warped in and killed Huginns, FCs, Anchors and then warped out when the bombers tried to bomb them. Lake and Zagdul both were insta-popped off the field, along with the logistics and Drake anchors. The Drake fleet followed, as they were doing the most damage to the AHACS. Soon, Goons started to disengage and rally back into the POS shields. THis was truly a good fight.

ROUND 2: Seeking revenge for their earlier defeat, DOTBROS went to reinforce a tech moon that was taken during EU time zone in DL1C-E (http://dog-net.org/brdoc/?brid=11150). Dreads jumped in and the tower was reinforced without issue. They then went on to a different tower with the intentions of reinforcing it as well.
Their destination was set to 9SL-K9 and the Dreads jumped in. About halfway through the tower’s shields a ping went out for a Drake fleet FC’d by Zagdul. Dreads exited siege just as a cyno opened. Round 2 was on. NCdot was quick and bubbled/popped the cyno. About 80~ drakes plus assorted other stuff came in, NCdot/B.Legion got to work immediately. The bomber wing was ineffective and all 3 sniper fleets were able to stay on grid for the entirety of the fight. All in all, this was a good night for the DOTBROS.

Dotbro's do a good job at countering some of the CFC fleets with their nano ships, I have to give them that. When its neck and neck, the CFC FC's have gotten lazy and complacent with the southern war not presenting any actual challenge outside of organizing titans to bridge out. While the CFC can maintain the tech moons they are taking and can keep them, they are suffering losses at an increasing rate. In the end though, if the CFC can starve out the Dotbros of their remaining tech, it will make the sov grinding easier in the long run.

Everyone is talking about the longevity of the CFC juggernaut. I'm not so sure. It's clear by now that the DOTBROS are having a major impact even though they are heavily outnumbered in every single fight. Wars like these are often won by morale more than anything else. The morale of the DOTBROS couldn't been better. DOTBROS just took back a tech moon. Is this the turning point of this war?

It's a bit of a hollow victory; after all, the only reason why Goons isn't steamrolling the Dotbros is because they are split north and south fighting Dotbros and -A-. If Goons and their PL pets (PL as Goon pets? My how the mighty have fallen), superior numbers and supers would win the day.

The Tornado Sniper Fleets are amazing against Drake and Tengu fleets, where they can land a few volleys before they even consider warping out.

Dotbros absolutely slaughtered CFC,hunted down reminants of the CFC fleet & even hulariously caughty 20 or so of them including Vily,when they slung a Drag bubble of on another POS that we new they were going to run to next,caught some of the reminants that were still trying to leg it.
CFC outnumbered Dotbros 2to1 but CFC Fleet was split wich was there downfall,as every1 knows CFC can't do shit without a Blob & they managed to kill all but 1-2 ships while welping over a quarter of their fleet within 5minutes. The Initial Fight Below,obviously not registering all of CFC as they didn't manage to kill jack shit.
