Ethereal Dawn ahead in Drone Wars, or so they say…
According to their leadership the war for Etherium Reach and Kalevala is going splendidly, although they are expecting more interested (read: bored to death) parties to join soon. Much of course could be propaganda meant to keep the members happy and joining fleets. But a look at dotlan maps (links below) will suffice to confirm they, and friends PNG, own most of Etherium Reach by now. The same maps show that with the help of their Russian Masters and IRC they have become more than a nuisance for SONE, to say the least.

3 weeks ago we started our counterattack on SONE and their allies. With the betrayal of BOB we had to clear Etherium Reach from their presence first while the invasion in Kalevala Expanse started as well:

Many systems are already taken over. You will remember the number of CTA´s we had in the past 8) Many of them were boring structure grindings and sometimes even just sitting around. But we also had some really cool fights with SONE and their allies.

SOLAR FLEET out to help pets… err friends!
In that same forum post we learn the interesting tidbit that Solar Fleet is joining the war more seriously. This is a curious piece of news for this reporter who, having been there originally, remembers SOLAR requesting screenshots of SBUs and SONE fleets in order to prove that the M9- constellation was being invaded. Now they decide to finally help their pets conquer the next door neighbors. With supercaps. Russians are funny people.

After SONE escalated the fights with bringing NCdot and Evoke on a regular basis, SOLAR decided to join the party as well. They started last weekend with deploying supercapitals and are also busy reinforcing stuff all over in Kalevala.
As this conflict is getting bigger and bigger more entities start getting interested and thinking about deploying in drone regions: You will have already noticed The Retirement Club, who are camping the constellation around QZX-L9. Also Nulli Secunda is deploying to Otosela as you read this. They will look for opportunities to get ~good fights~. Others might be on the way as well.[...]
We need to keep pushing and secure the space before someone else is doing it. We can not allow any other entities to food hold in Kalevala or we will have a never ending conflict.
So it seems that during this boring summertime everyone and their mother’s pet parakeet will pile up in the Drone Regions. The good news for the locals is that the area sucks and is near worthless, so hopefully no one will want to stay for long.

ED/IRC was already low on morale, in order to save face they had no other option then to batphone SOLAR
IRC morale has been high the entire time. At worst, IRC has occasionally suffered from boredom.

I did enjoy camping Kalevala in our Cloakies and bombing a CynoFalcon with no tank with 2 bombers, but thats about as far as it goes.

ED/ IRC/ IMPL/ PNG/ GYPSY + other pets vs SONE/ BT not escalating, since ED and co required IRC and pets to come and help

ED/ IRC/ IMPL/ PNG/ GYPSY + other pets vs SONE/ BT/ NC./ EV0KE/ EW0KS is a massive escelation for the sone team which require the ED team to bring in SW and SC to help fight the already out numbered defenders?

Gypsy is nowhere to be seen in this conflict. Don't confuse this proxy war in TKE with the real war in Geminate.
It was ED/PNG vs SONE/BT/DP-R at the start, then IMP-L decided to show a littler interest for a week or two, but have for now left to deal with their own issues. So, at the start you guys outnumbered us.
Then SONE/BT/DP-R realising that their failed attempt of taking ED space could cause some problems, called in NC. to help with the 'important' timers. This is when B0B decided to back-stab and join SONE. Due to this, ED/PNG asked if IRC wanted some fun, and they happily said yes. Then EVOKE and pet alliance Ewoks joined in, so ED/PNG/IRC finally used their 'bat-phone', and brought in Solar to help finish off SONE's and BT's sov.
GYPSY is not even in this fight. So, I don't know where u pulled that name from…

Wow just wow. All i see here is hateraid towards IRC as usual but you know for an alliance everyone thinks as a scrub the "great alliances" have to put spies in IRC to win fights. So obviously IRC is a much greater threat than you want to admit. But hey we are not here to judge you. The only thing that keeps you from getting your butts kicked is the fear you have. So tell me how are the fights when you do not know what they are flying or where they are staging. Oh wait you never fight not knowing. So good for you to have spies. Just know in the end it was the spies that won the fight not your leadership skills.
why would someone put spies into IRC ? That is not necessary at all. Anyone can beat IRC easily. But they always batphone SOLAR to save them.
99% of the time, Solar and IRC operate in different theaters. If NCdot and Evoke hadn't entangled themselves in the TKE fight, Solar would never have showed up.
You put spies in IRC to figure out when to go shit on their fleets.
For an alliance that holds such a small amount of space (SONE), they really seem to be giving SOLAR/IRC +pets a bunch of trouble. You'd think a coalition of 12k vs 4k would have this wrapped up in a week or 2.
It should have been done in a month, but SONE brought in NC. and Evoke, so it's taking a little longer because of these stupid timers…

NC. only showed up after SOLAR had to come in and SBU everything… because their IRC/ED pets had been able to do anything for the previous month.
It's been sorta funny watching an alliance with ~1200 members hold off a coalition with 15k+ actively deployed to the fight. Yes, NC. has brought their supers out in response to SOLARs escalation. But the fact that SOLAR had to do that at all is the telling part.
I think this is gonna be a longer battle for TKE than people expect at the moment.
