What follows is an update on the Geminate war from the point of view of Solar Fleet, this is a rare sight (Solar Fleet seldom send us intel) so enjoy:

Now that delve fight is basically over, thought it would be a good time to point your attention over to the “forsaken” drone regions.
The focus might be over Geminate, but apart from us fighting NCDOT and other fail friends, there was a lot of fun to have (still is) over E-R and kalevala.
(btw, yes we took that bait with our dreads, but we still kick NCDOT ass).
A bit of background
aside from our useful allies (BricK sQuAD., etc), we got our little pets, i.e mostly IMP-L (who in turn got their own pets like Ethereal Dawn and PNG over Etherium Reach). Now, NCDOT tried to make us spread our forces thin, by backing over Sons of New Eve (SONE) and Broken Toys, taking over the entire Kalevala Region, and starting to grief our buffer cannon fodder in Etherium Reach. More to it, due to some inside drama with some neglect able corp Tribal Dragons, which broke off, part assimilated into Ethereal Dawn and part renamed to B0B (lol), a drama that none of us had any use to, and almost resulted in MACTEP resetting the entire region. BUT, our strategists knew better then that. why not using NCDOT plan against them?
So we brought over Intrepid Crossing, which are mostly useless but do have numbers, and ISKs to lose. About two weeks ago, we sent our little pets to invade the Kalevala Expanse, SBUing half of that region, resulting in B0B’s droping off the coalition and joining SONE and friends in their fight, believing NCDOT’s and SONE promises of reinforcements. Our plan started to work. we held NCDOT busy, taking fights over Geminate, and (as we much believed would happen) since they don’t really give a crap about their pets, Etherium Reach key systems went over completely to us, and Kalevala is burning, turning over system at a time. I would admit there have been a few gud fights over, and NCDOT did bring some reinforcement, (which usually killed their pets after the fight was over, cause they didn’t bother to blue them lol).
At this moment, end results are as followed:
We (SOLAR INC) taken over Etherium Reach through our pets, making it completely ours again, after this whole B0B failscade.
NCDOT is involved in four way battle, and since we are better then them (with all their 400 titans and supers), the trust between them and their Kalevala pets are destroyed. THEY WILL NOT COME FOR THEIR HELP lol.
This said, NCDOT will lose all credibility with future allies, cause, well THEY SUCK. and they will F**K u over.
Oh and from what I’ve just heard, SONE picked up over their masters, and screwed over those fail BoBs lol resetting them in mid fight or something.
IRC will take over Kalevala, and might even remain an ally for us. numbers do have their use.

After reading the latest post about the nothern war i couldn’t help myself sending you this corecction. The CFC has told NCDOT to fuck with Solar Fleet (geminite). If they didn’t do that then they could consider them self being F’d. Plans are already made to take sov in NCDOT space by the FA and goons supporting them.
Soco approached NDCOT of course as well and they declined because of the day they would have with goons. Goons are scared of SOCO if Solar Fleet is able to help them out.

Solar won't get involved in the CFC vs SoCo war, at least not going directly into the south. I really doubt CFC is in any position to move against NCdot & friends without starting to loose the freshly conquered Delve, but if Solar also starts attacking NCdot, things might go wrong for them. Solar and CFC don't really have many reasons to fight each other.
Solar won't get involved with SoCo because -A- is a garbage alliance who pissed away every advantage they had at the start of the campaign and their allies now suffer because of it. They have absolutely nothing to gain by salvaging that campaign.

The fact is over the last year there has been improvement in Cobalt edge, with more unified fleet doctrines and a few FCs of decent quality.
Solar could never be a SoCo. block leader with that kind of attitude… it harbours resentment among allies, a weakened coalition, and grudges in the future. Even -A- is not that stuck up.

When SOLAR attacked XXDEATHXX, IRC was blue to both and decided not to get involved. When it was clear that XXDEATHXX would not let IRC be, IRC kicked into gear against XXDEATHXX. After the fight was over IRC bequeathed half of Oasa to SOLAR.
Again IRC has proven that it is an ally to SOLAR and taken Kavala from SOLAR's enemies. I would like to think that SOLAR would appreciate that fact. When things get tough IRC (While not the greatest PVPers) don't back down.

Solar and IRC have an understanding. In the evicting of xDeath, IRC temporarily stopped sov warfare when PL and NCdot kicked them in the gut, but nevertheless continued to harrass renters in oasa. And Solar was cool with that. Only people outside IRC and Solar ever think there are any hard feelings between the two for that phase of the war.
I have always considered IRC the underdog of Eve Online, I have contacted their leadership in the past to see how things goes not as terrible as most ppl think – the article might be a bit unfair to them (not going to change someone else's words though).

Every time I fought IRC it was an awesome slugfest for us, even if we were 2:1 outnumbered.
Their positioning/FCing is shit, their fleet doctrines are too feeble and even their F1 Drones are terribad, as you can see in some of their vids on YT.
IRC is the worst major sovholder when it comes to PvP. Period.

I too agree I've seen them as the Underdog. Although its been several months since I played Eve (quit in December), for the time I played, I was with them. And I was good at pvp. And I liked it. I liked killing Goons too.
The problem with IRC is also their biggest strength. They may always be viewed as weak. But to try destroying them is about as futile as beating a dead horse. They'll still be there, probably in Cobalt Edge, right up until the servers finally shut down.
The only thing you can really do is simply contain them there, in Cobalt Edge, by sending in huge multi-alliance fleets on a regular basis like the GSF used to do back in the day. IRC is not going to expand much if they spread out too far (fleets take long enough to form up with just the one region)
if Solar joins SOCO and NCDOT also joins in the fray against DECO it could be a weird war on multiple fronts. NC+ SOLAR can press in the north
while A RA Nulli etc can go in the south.

1) Solar Fleet reports are not just rare–they do not happen at all.
2) The author clearly misunderstood the role played by IMP-L. Solar would not be confused by this.
3) IRC has no plans to keep Kalevala. Solar knows this.
4) While Solar leadership can sometimes come off as arrogant, they are not so stupid as to publicly alienate their allies. This piece, on the other hand, seems mostly designed to do exactly that.

This article is pretty bad tbh. I'll start fromt he bottom and go up. A. Goons did not tell Nc. to do anything. Brick and Solar reinforced our tech moons in Geminate so we moved in to save them and take Solar's tech moons in Geminate (proof: start of the war where we lost 26 carriers and our tengu fleet). B. NC. has been helping SONE and most of the fighting is in the US tz which means solar hasn't been preoccupieing us at that time at all. C. We do not have 400 titans and supers and the fighting has been going back and forth sometimes we win sometimes we lose. In Russian TZ we don't exactly have the numbers to compete with 650 or more Solar which is fine because later russian tz we get more equal fights. This sounds like crap from someone in the CFC in all honesty because there is no way somebody actually there would say things about their allies like that or about their enemies since all you see in local is good fights after a battle. (spare a few people)

Regardless of whether this post is BS or not, Solar is probably the only entity in the game that still keeps Mittani awake at night.
SoCo won't put their supers on the line as they don't have deep pockets like CFC do (lol tech), ergo have lost the Delve Campaign without putting up much of a fight.
So where from here for CFC?
My bet is the long term goal of Mittens is to do what BoB never could, conquer or blue all of nullsec, with those blues being at his beck and call. Doing so would inflict the final indignity upon those long held to be his nemesis – real or not.
Once the Delve campaign is finished, he still has to keep his minions occupied – afterall, even goon grunts get tired of suicide ganking hulks after a while.
So, what to do? Simple enough, take the rest of the tech moons from NCDot. Just like the non-aggression pact between Germany and Russia in WWII, that agreement and NCDot. will have outlived their….. usefullness.
He may not do this immediately after the Delve campaign of course, more time to build up a titan/SC fleet and having the pilots to fly them would be the smart move – ensuring that when that offensive is launched, he can carry it through ala the White Noise campaign.
And Pandemic Legion? What of them? Never in my wildest dreams would I have thought Shadoo would bend a knee to The Mittani, yet here we are – Mittens with a gargantuan titan/supercap fleet at his command so long as he brings the 'gudfites' and probably the promise of compensation should one of PLs preciousssss do something silly, get themselves dictored, and SoCo undocks from 319 long enough to kill it.
In finality, Solar Fleet is one of the great unknowns of the game – for such a huge entity they have a very low profile. Their capability however, is never to be underestimated, as Red Alliance and xXDeathXx found out only too clearly.
Currently, aside from a Coup by NCDot and PL, Solar Fleet are the only genuine threat to Mittens empire – so for now he will keep them at arms length, build his forces, and when the time is right, go after the Russian giant.
Some may say this is Tinfoil hat rambling, and maybe it is, but I believe Mittens ego demands nothing less than total control of EvE in as many capacities as possible. Either way, time will tell.
