After the announcement of Ushra’Khan closing there was great uproar within the membership. Many people battering the alliance leader Tempest for making the call to close the alliance. Two members used a game mechanic to remove Tempest form his leadership position and therefore snuffing his desire to close the alliance as the decision was made that Ushra’Khan must not be closed and the next step for the alliance was to no longer seek to hold Sov. The decision was made that Ushra’Khan will become a Faction Warfare Alliance because that aspect of Eve would promote what Ushra’Khan is truly about RP and killing the Amarr.

What corps are moving with Ushra’Khan into Faction Warfare is unknown and how many corps are leaving due to this is unknown as well. However the old alliance created when U’K was disbanded called Damu’Khonde is merging with Ushra’Khan and forming one entity to enter faction warfare.

LLeak: Coups and Oportunism Within Ushra’Khan

Forum Post:

Hi folks.

I don’t know how long this will be, so I apologise in advance regardless of its length.

What an interesting 24 hours its been huh?

In case you’re not aware yet, Feanos and myself have used the mechanics of the game to allow me to take control of the alliance, removing the ability to close it from Tempest’s hands. I want to make it clear at this juncture that I commend Tempest for the work, effort and time he has given to the cause during his term – it’s been a very difficult time, and I wish him the very best with whatever he does next.

So.

This means I am now the executor.

I became the executor at around 1am eve time.

I’ve spent the last couple of hours in conversation with most of the interested parties as things stand at the moment and what follows is list of the things that will be happening in the coming week in no particular temporal order:

Damu’Khonde corps will move to Ushra’Khan (possibly bringing a minor wardec with them, full schedule’s will be posted if its going to happen and when wars will take effect from).

Ushra’Khan will endeavour to join Faction Warfare with the Minmatar Republic. Standing’s may need to be worked on, more details to follow as we/I progress.

An announcement will be written and posted to the eve-o forums for RP/Recruitment.

Some other current FW corps will move to being under the U’K banner. Names will be announced as confirmations happen.

A potential new leadership structure will come into effect:

Executor: Me.
Council: Jessie Arr, Petrus Blackshell, Kahega Amielden, Rye Contini, Feanos, StarCasher.
Mining Director: TBA (two people are currently in contention).

Note: Combat Operations will be led by Jessie Arr & Petrus Blackshell.

I will add and amend to this post as the week progresses.

Update:

Current list of items that we’re working through:

Decide base’s of operation.
Update RoE
Update alliance bulletins
Update information pages with details of new comms, new intel channels, etc,
Find a press officer (volunteers welcomed, needs to be someone who’s both suitably forum whorish, but can actually type coherently and isn’t infected with Advanced Troll V)
Decide if/on an alt corp.

A Note: there are many alt corps out there as it is right now, I see no particular benefit to having just the one centralised place. Some people prefer NPC corps for war dec reasons. I’ll start a new thread, if people want to post their alt corp and invite people in, then fair enough.

Decide on future of D’K.

Not a decision we need to rush in any way, but its something to consider. Do we put it back to sleep for now? There’s a D’K thread already running, post your ideas and thoughts.

Update 2:

Press Officer: Petrus Blackshell

Timeline: I aim to push the FW button midnight July 1st.

This gives I feel ample time for people to do what they need to do and be ready to slaughter deviant Amarrian loyalists till there’s so much blood in space you could get out and swim!

Once the button has been pushed, and we’re in the Militia, current FW corps (including D’K members) will move over to U’K.

Interesting how these people couldn't get off their ass before and get the alliance on its feet..instead they had to wait until the current leader got so tired that he gave up.. and now they kick him out and take over..wow what great guys..

Why would they cry? Goons are why the Minmatar were winning anyways.

Fweddit welcomes the slaves as they try to fight for holy Amarrian territory.

We whip our slaves back and forth and fight for the space chickunz. We look forward for more fleet issue Stabbers to kill with our Thrasher blobs.

And you better watch the fuck out….. our scrub alts can fly cruisers now…..

It's always a good thing when your new alliance leader doesn't know the difference between plural and possessive. But hey, at least he didn't misuse "their" "there" or "they're".

in a global game, and an EMEA alliance, where only players frm one country have english as their native tongue. – before that background, how classy would you rate your comment on a scale from 1-10 …

let me rephrase, how many languages do you speak aside from english? And will those 2ndary 3tiary languages be spoken by you as good as this particular person tries to navigate through enlish, what do you recon smartass?

I'm happy too see this. Losing U'K would have been a loss for EvE.

Remember…The strongest foundations are often built at rock bottom.

"In case you’re not aware yet, Feanos and myself have used the mechanics of the game to allow me to take control of the alliance" . Sounds like what Tarac Nor did to U'K alliance, didn't they all squeal like stuffed pigs when those mechanics were used then. How times change.

    What's Oportunism?

I am unfamiliar with this word.

    Or did you mean Opportunism?

No, pretty sure he meant Oportunism. It means the same thing as Opportunism, except with the added implication that he doesn't care about accurate spelling on a gaming website.

lul, yet more dumbass rp'ers to shoot. At some point they will figure out 90% of FW doesn't give a shit about RP and are on both sides of the war jewing LPs and killing shit.

    1. zoolkhan

they have figured that out long ago already. but that is not the point. the point is, that the ccp environment of FW – gives a basis for roleplay in the first place.

shooting random reds doesnt do it. All uk pilots are used to the "cloak and wizard hat" mockery…
      a) they dont roleplay half as serious as you seem to think
      b) the few who do, give a rats ass about your opinion
      c) evidently – roleplay does not make you impotent, and also does not negatively affect pvp skills

ive seen pure pvp alliances performing far worse, and dissolving far sooner

  11. U'K maybe?

This is actually good news. I liked the U'K of old, even if I was often fighting against them. I was a total noob, first time in nullsec, like most of the people in my alliance then. I learned to fly the Vaga by learning how to kill U'K's cloaky vagas that were raiding our home systems regulatory in Catch. I was saddened to see it fail and become a third grade pet alliance after everything that happened subsequently to the purge of CVA from Provi by -A-. Just make sure you rebuild it as a PVP alliance as the name U'K deserves. If you do that I'm thinking of joining you guys. And CVA is back in Provi, so targets will be plentiful

    June 22, 2012 at 11:27 pm Reply
    1. zoolkhan

CVA is no roleplay anymore. only rescue for UK is going back to roleplay. if the pilots wanted territory ping pong, they have already joined one of the "relevant" alliances.

… they did not come for their people since years, and that is exactly why it went down so badly.
betrayal of their old charta, kicking loyalty & rp with boots. -lets see if they can heal
and become what they were. A small tight knit unit, brilliant in small gang warfare – relevant within the roleplay community, and not amongst the territory pingpong tennis clubs.

Well, a clear sign of UK's relevance is shown by mentioning the mining director before the pvp coordinators I guess

relevance lies in the eye of the beholder. i personally give a fuck about those who think theyre so relevant, that their comments about relevancy of others would have any weight or be ineteresting for anyone at all.

having said all that. and beeing one of few who were with ushrakhan for many years – i was wondering too why mentioning the mining director was amongst the first… in my time, there was no such mining director on an alliance level.. that must be a new thing, established after i left..

It is a shame it took so long for people to stand up & take charge but at least it has been done & things for the mean time will go on for UK.

What makes me laugh though is all the usual experts with all the same old comments, yet these same people have to hide behind Alt names.

Any of the old crew like T.R.I.A.D, FU2 etc likely to join Uk now they are in FW i wonder?

    July 2, 2012 at 12:18 pm Reply
    1. zoolkhan

as the curator of fu2 i can say: no – fu2 is on ice, and remains on ice that has not much to do with ushrakhan though.

About triad, well – they just left DFNTS.. maybe they have enough of FW now? ask det resprox, he will know.

About mirkur, the corp that was born out of the fu2 – of which i happen to be CEO i can only
say: As long the dictatorial concept continues to exist where an executor decides over the heads of the council, possibly because he had a bad day or sumthin, whether to dissolve an alliance or
kick a corp or whatever… while this ruling-concept is not removed, mirkur will not return.

at this point in time, what uk needs to heal – and gain trust, is involvement of the basis
also if that means slower decision making, right now another ego-tripping self pitying
not so charismatic all depends on one person leaderhship -is not doing the trick.

there is other conditions – things i would not discuss in public.
