The following is a reader opinion piece on the ongoing war between Nulli Secunda and Romanian Legion. The author claims to be a Romanian Legion director, yet he pledged to have his identity unrevealed.
How I have seen develop as a Director in Romanian Legion.
StainWagon Coalition vs Nulli Secunda (and every little nothing alliance they could find to help them)
As you know a few months ago Nulli Secunda (S2N) reset Romanian Legion because of… Well nobody really knows, their Executor at the time didn’t even know who he was talking to. The Nulli PR machine went on to rally its troops against the ‘disrespectful’ neighbors telling everyone how they will let RL go fight for their space and live in Omist.
A Southern Coalition meeting was held with Nulli, RL, -A-, and ROL leaders where it was made clear to Nulli Secunda that ROMANIAN-LEGION *had* fought for their space for years and wasnt given it like S2N was. So as long as no Sov Warfare was inacted RL and S2N can do whatever they like to each other.
A no camping/no sov agreement was put into place and both parties have been regularly shooting each other in the face, to the enjoyment of both parties.
We fast forward to March, RL had been doing some clean up trying to push Out of Sight (friends of RED Alliance) out of Stain during which it blues some residents of Stain who fight along side RL and then are told they can join RL.
On March 8th while two corps are in the process of switching alliances some malcontents of these two corps go ahead and drop some SBUs in the TCAG system.
Vera Cruz was informed that this had nothing to do with Romanian Legion but some butts were sore and some griefing tactics ensued. Nothing really special happened until the -A- and Red Alliance agreement.
I’m sure everybody has read about that agreement and nobody saw Vera Cruz name in there anywhere. So what to do? Well why not turn to butt buddies Nulli Secunda and bitch about all the problems they have been having with Romanian Legion.
So it is decided that RL broke the NIP because these ‘Neutral Corps’ as one Nulli poster said in another article attacked VC Sov. A CTA is called for March 18th and Nulli pulls in everybody who is losing Sov in the Red Alliance deal (except those who took the move offer).
Fast forward to this past weekend in TPAR.
Romanians called in StainWagon Coalition support of mostly C0ven and Stain Empire for a total of about 250. Nulli and friends wait until they have about 450 before they come to TPAR.
Stainwagon is formed up by 1730 and Nulli & Company finally get their max numbers around 1900 or so. Stainwagon had sniper tier 3 BCs and a bomber wing, while Nulli & Co. had a large Maelstrom/Naga fleet with a smaller Armor BS fleet.
SBU’s were dropped, lots of warping in/out skirmishes were had until a great bombing run by the bombing wing. After that a couple more big skirmishes with Stainwagon coming out ahead in losses using the snipers.
Then things settled down for about the last 90mins of the SBU timers where Stainwagon would try to shoot the SBU and Nulli & Co would warp in to chase them off. The SBUs finally went online and one last fight was had at the Cyno Jammer where Stainwagon got the majority of their losses. The jammer went down and this fight was over for the day.
About 25 or so supers and about a dozen dreads ran around from system to system after that reinforcing all the stations. It was a great fight but as we all know Sov War is not about skilled pvpers its about how many monkeys you can get to press F1.
Where does the rest of Southern Coalition stand on these events I dont know, what I do know is that Nulli & Co haven’t done their homework.
Romanians have been fighting for, taking, lossing, and retaking Period Basis space for years to much better skilled opponents. This war will go on even without Sov, I hope Nulli doesn’t have plans for the next year because I can guarantee their dance card will be full.
- A Romanian.
